AAF Violate on scene init status 4 despite having animation mods

as said in the title, im getting the on scene init status 4 error sometimes when a surrender scene happens, thats the error code for it failing to find an animation, however i have a whole bunch of animation mods installed. posting my plugin load order below

Please don't start separate topics for issues with mods that already have an active help topic.

 

This particular problem has been covered hundreds of times.  There are three typical reasons for getting AAF error 4 in Violate:

1. your character is some race AAF doesn't know about
2. you have enabled aggressor races that you don't have animations for
3. you enabled female aggressors in gangbangs when you don't have animations for those.

To see what the exact problem was, open the AAF menu and go to the Admin section.  It will list all AAF errors that occurred, with the newest at the top.  That will tell you exactly what the types of characters were that it couldn't handle.

I got the same error message, likely because I am using a custom race mod for my character. The race is exactly the same as a regular player model except for the head, however, so is there a way to tell AAF to "ignore" the race restriction?

I have same issue as Darkinator. Useing regular AAF i can have animation ( My female human char - Hancock - Avery), but when i got Avery surrender can't violate her with companion. AAF Admin log says that there is no animation for human female - ghoul male - human female, and something about included and exluded filters.

The problem is that Violate is asking for an animation with the "Aggressive" tag, but the only FMF animations you have don't have that tag.

Can You recommnd any animation for it? I have instaled practicly all amimations from LoversLab but it still not working.

There are not too many animation packs for FO4. SavageCabbage, Leito, Vader, I'm surely missing others.That is a problem in your setup, not the mod.

Thank you for the comprehensive response that led to me finding out about this way to troubleshoot the problem for the first time. If it's been posted about hundreds of times, I can guarantee that none of those hundreds of times showed up for me in a Google search, so despite the inherent put-down accompanying the information, I thank you for the valuable information provided. I have saved it offline so I won't have to spend hours searching for something I have quite literally never found, only to be treated like crap by people who forget they were once noobs, too, and forget that not everybody speaks "lifelong gamer" language, or can intuit how to find the one obscure little needle/problem amongst the haystack involved. I am with IsaacSuit on this one. When people search these days, we rarely get to control what comes up first in a Google Search. We sure as shit not own google or have controlling stock interest in Google to do anything of the sort. So if we start yet another NEW thread on here, its because we have yet to find a single fucking thread that actually answered the question or resolves the bug issue, as in this thread, when a person takes the time to download and install every available animation pack for AAF, only to have the thing fuck up, because of piss poor coding, its should not be on us to fix the problem.   

If the creators of AAF want endorsements, they need to actually work with people, instead of insult them, or call them names because Google does not give us the correct link to exact correct page that has the information we are looking for.

Every mod on Loverslab  has a support thread that is for answering this type of question.  Go to the mod's download page and click on "Get Support" and it will take you there.

 

If you post in that thread, the mod author and anyone else who is following the thread will get a notification about it.  If you create a new thread, nobody will know about it unless they specifically go browsing that section of the forums.

 

My comment to IsaacSuit wasn't meant as a put down, it's simply a fact that posting in (and reading!) the support threads is the best way to get help.  If I sounded kind of snappy about it, it's because we mod authors spend a lot of time giving free tech support for the piss-poor mods that we created for free, and we'd like users to meet us halfway by using the tools provided for them to get help.

I would also like to plug that there is a fantastic guide for getting AAF and adult animations to work properly, called The Fucking Manual.  And if you are visiting this thread from the future and need additional support, first off, welcome Time Traveler.  And second, there is a link in this guide to the AAF Discord server.  Hopefully this server still exists in (insert current date/time/universe/dimension here).

 

There are of course at least 3 reasons why the guide is called The Fucking Manual.

1. This Guide Fucks!  (Just look how sexy it is.)

2. The Guide helps you get your pixels to fuck.

3. It's the fucking manual...
