Normanthetree Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 I am having a problem with SL defeat SSE in the MCM window, I will click on the tab for defeat and click the "install" it tells me to close the window and wait for a notification. But the notification never pops up. I've waited for it to give me the notification for about 30 minutes and then tried reinstalling the mod with a new fresh save but it didn't work. I found this thread ( https://www.loverslab.com/topic/90670-sexlab-defeat-cannot-install-through-mcm-solved/page/2/) but it didn't help me in my situation. Has anyone else had this problem in the past and know of a solution?

Normanthetree Posted April 8, 2021 Author Posted April 8, 2021 Yeah I have, I went through made a new character twice and it didn't work
crimsonpaper Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Oh shoot, I guess I'm not the only one with this problem!
Dorabella Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 I don't know if it can help but, taking a look at the original mod, there is some conflict with some configurations of Sexlab SexLab Defeat 5.3.5
dzpliu Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Maybe try posting your entire load order here? (esm, esps)
libertyordeath Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 (edited) Try if SL Defeat Bane Version works on a new save. Bane is basically classic defeat, but with dozens of fixes. 1. Do NOT remove classic SL Defeat in your modmanager 2. Add Bane version right below classic in modmanager 3. Disable classic, enable bane 4. Start new game - do NOT try to run Bane on an existing save where classic was already enabled. At least not without knowing how to clean your save thouroughly. I've had infinite problems with classic SL Defeat, and stopped using it years ago. Tried Bane a few months ago, and never had a problem with that one. Well, except for the outdated animselector built in. But you can just leave that hotkey unassigned and use SL Tools instead. Edited October 2, 2024 by libertyordeath
