Whacked Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Hi, didn't see any open threads about this after skimming the forums, if I missed one sorry for the new topic. I'm using CBPC and all is working fine, but the physics are a bit boingy for my taste. Not interested in SMP, I used it for a bit, and it was fantastic, but I'd rather have the resources for other things in the game. My issue is with the CBP.ini. I've tried presets and making wild changes in it on my own, and I never seem to see any difference in game. Sometimes I think I do, but I think its placebo. I don't use giant melons or huge butts, and I can't live without some boing, but I'd like to tone it down a bit, make it firmer, mostly recovery, so they stop bouncing after 2 full bounces instead of 3 or 4. Butt cheeks swing unrealistically, and don't recover fast enough even on small butts. Does anyone have any tips? Maybe my cbp.ini isn't actually changing anything because I have done something wrong, though I'm not sure what, it all works fine on naked bodies and clothing armor. I'm not here to critique the different systems, and I appreciate all the authors hard work, I can live with what I have, would just like to tailor it to my taste a little more Thanks for any tips!
anjenthedog Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Install Sinful CPB. (Sinful CBP is an in-game manger for CBNPC performance) Its MCM has settings for very firm to sloshy and can be applied to each area (breast, butt, thigh, belly) independently to fine tune your desired reaction. You can also delve deeper into the numbers, but I just use the stock choices. See the SE Compatibility thread in the main LL Skyrim SE forum or wander over to the Nexus site to download and install it.
Just Don't Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Why so defensive? lynak warning is actually on point if OP has been doing manual edits in the config file and using SinfulCBP would mean losing that file in its current state. 3 hours ago, lynak said: I created this modified configfile a while ago, with comments explaining what each setting does, including hints: That's a great breakdown of each setting, thanks for sharing it. edit: wtf
Whacked Posted March 22, 2021 Author Posted March 22, 2021 What did I miss??? I did try Sinful, and honestly could't tell the difference. I knew well enough to back up the default configs and my own edits. When I said "wild changes" I meant is made huge changes in the settings to see if I could reverse engineer what does what, but I always kept my backups, and I still didn't see any major changes. That made me think that something is not right, since I should be seeing something. I'd love to see lynak's config file! FWIW, I thought HDT SMP with the Firm configs available on the Nexus where just right for me, was just trying to get close to that without the major performance issues.
