Garm Companion - No Schlong

Hello guys. I browsed for a day now and found several solutions, but nothing seems to work. Every wolf/dog in my game has a canine dick, but Garm just wont get one. I optimized my load order with the LOOT Software and checked everything, but somehow Garm wont get his tool. Any suggestions?

Look in the CF McMenu and see what mod is producing the death hound.

What should happen is that CF should provide the mesh for the schlong. If it's not you either have an issue with CF or something is overwriting the mesh (do you have something that changes Garm's looks?). The other place you can look is in the game. Walk up to Garm as if you are going to talk to him. Open the console and click on him (his stats may already be showing on the screen edges in which case don't click on him). On the right side of the screen there should be something that says something like "Last mod to change this character". See what that was - there is a better than average chance that it is what caused your issue.

Okay, so Ill try to reinstall the framework. Acutally I already had the right one. After reinstalling I'll try to  do the console thing. I have no other mod to change Garm. Ill keep you updated !

So i reinstalled the framwork, but there's no change. I did the console thing, but theres no information displayed about gram.

I just noticed something. In my folders, theres already a folder for him.

So in my understanding, this should work - but where's the thing why it doesnt?

 

Another thing I found is, that in my meshes folder there's actually no garm. Do I have to NIF the garm esp somehow?

You should be able to click on him and the information will be around the edges. Try clicking on him. If it still doesn't work try it on a vanilla NPC so I can see why it isn't working with the dog. This dog is one of the Vigilant's huskies? (Different names in English.) Anyway, you can also look in the CF McMenu and see what meshes the huskies are using.

 

Oh, and try removing your Garm no armor mod and see if he is then endowed. It may be that it is what is overwriting the meshes.

I looked for the Huskys and found this. Should be the right one. I tried each one, but there's nothing happening.
The console thing doesn't work on any NPC

What about the armor mod? If turning that off gives Garm a schlong (and it might since it is likely overwriting MNC) then the solution would be to put the armor mod before MNC (thus allowing MNC to overwrite the armor mod).

That armor is nod from a mod. Theres multiple versions you can download. You install just one, not multiple.

Currently I installed the 'original' variant.

 

I had simliar issues with werewolves earlier. The solution was to pick the right Dick in MCM-Menu of Creature Framework, but Gorm doesnt appear there and every dog/husky variant has the same option picked. It works for everyone of them, except garm.

If Garm was simply using the vanilla meshes then his schlong would show up like the other huskies. I looked at the mod that you referenced above and the author says that some of the textures come from Bellyaches material and that material is not available currently on Nexus. I suspect that you may have to make your own schlong for him if you want him. @MadMansGun has a tutorial on how to do just that found here:

yes, but they don't have the NiStringExtraData for the hdt collision stuff....which is a good thing because NOT having them should make it easier to port any patches to SSE.

Hi, is there a way to know which version of garm have are compatible with the More Nasty Critters compatibility kit by any chance ?

I tried the white version for Garm but it doesn't seems to work.
