lordofthedread Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 As much as I am disapointed that Beth is moving forward and no more DLC will be released for Skyrim I totally agree with Seet. If they just could release a patch for the broken expressions that wold be awesome, but even if they dont I will continue to play Skyrim.

My post has noting to do with anything you said. I am a little dismayed that there won't be anymore dlc.
PuddyTat Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Bethesda isn't in business because modders support them, modders are in business because Bethesda releases games with mod tools. Without Bethesda, modding in general would basically be limited to nude patches with texmod. Without modders, I'm pretty sure Bethesda could console themselves with the bundles of cash they'd make by releasing their own mods under a micro-transaction system. This. Bethesda has its faults, but I'm not about to slam them for a limited DLC lineup for Skyrim. Hell, I've put more game hours into Skyrim than any other game I've played my entire life. How can I find fault with that? My biggest beefs are just the apparent difficulty with modding in animations and whatnot, but A)I'm not a modder myself and The main game is phenomenal anyway and C) Modding *is* supported, nay, encouraged, by Bethesda. I think they've done a fine job all things considered.
Rayblue Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 http://www.bethblog.com/2013/04/25/legendary-release So much for the mfg command.
pds123 Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 It costs Bethesda atleast $40k to release a patch, at the end of a game's lifetime it's a bit much for them to fork out even if there are a lot of bugs still in the game.
