DiddyBeatz Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 hello to all, ive tried downloading and installing the sexlab framework alone onto my game and it just doesnt want to work, ive watched so many tutorial videos that basically tell me the exact same thing but give me absolutely no results, ive been modding skyrim for a few years now and recently upgraded from NMM to MO2, im pretty confident i know what im doing on the mod manager but it still never even loads the main menu up or even start loading the game, instead it just locks the manager and then suddenly unlocks it like im not trying to run it, when i used NMM i managed to get it to run with various other mods like defeat etc without any problems, i only started having this issue when upgrading to MO2 any help on this?

I'm not an expert by any means, but what you're describing sounds like a load order issue. Just to make sure, are you using LOOT?
Tlam99 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Looks like a skse install/path problem. Do you start skse within manager ? Followed the procedure to install skse with manager ? Installed skse version with compatible racemenu ? What are the messages in the lower window in MO
DiddyBeatz Posted February 16, 2021 Author Posted February 16, 2021 i use loot and fnis after every single mod i installed from nexus mods and here just to make sure, it seems perfectly fine without the sexlab mods, its just as soon as i try to install the framework
DiddyBeatz Posted February 16, 2021 Author Posted February 16, 2021 and yes all my paths are perfect, my games directory is in C drive but out of the program files in its own folder, if youd like i can send my load order? all the mods ive downloaded ive read into the mod descriptions and requirements and made sure i had everything needed to run the mods and i have the right racemenu for it, i will admit i screwed that bit up already when i started using MO2 but i figured and fixed that pretty quick with a fresh install of MO2 as a blank slate and downloaded the nexus mods stuff first before attempting to download this, maybe thats why? the bottom messages are just that the fomod installer dialog:cpp:379 'the value exists but does not match' but i got that everytime i removed a mod from the list so didnt think much of it and that none of the selected mods could be updated
Tlam99 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Sexlab needs to be installed as descripted. Loot will not solve this.
DiddyBeatz Posted February 16, 2021 Author Posted February 16, 2021 as i have explained in the original post i used videos (aswell as this sites guide but this bit wasnt included, my apologies) to help me make sure it was all sorted properly
Tlam99 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 The message window in mo, the lowest window, should give the hint what failed to start.

osculim Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 I can probably help but we need to see your loadorder. Also don't rely on loot to solve all problems. Loot is not without flaws. It can mess up a perfectly working loadorder pretty quickly.

DiddyBeatz Posted February 16, 2021 Author Posted February 16, 2021 im using te sexlab framework SE 1.63 BETA instead of light if that could be the problem?

Never overwrite the skeleton. Only thing that comes after the skeleton is the fnis output.

Andy14 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Sexlab Framework has an install button in the MCM. Has the ingame Sexlab installation been initialized at all?
