Guest †Foggy♥Sugar†Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I wasn't sure where to put this and I apologize if I've entered this into the wrong thread.  I thought with the way the mic looks as well with breasts showing, I might as well add it to the adult section just in case.  In 2000 (I think) Giger was commissioned by Jonathan Davis to create a very specific and (I think) extremely beautiful mic with the artist's idea in mind.  What happened was this gorgeous creation - http://www.hrgiger.com/music/korn.htm  I was wondering, would this be possible to be made into a one and/or two handed sword for Oblivion?  I realize it is of a biomechanical nature and may not be for everyone, but I can't get this idea out of my head and honestly I don't have the time or talent to do this correctly.  If it's just too much work I understand.  I thought it would be extremely interesting and if done right, down right gorgeous to play with.  Obviously some things would have to change, I was thinking the tummy of the mic could be where the hand actually comes in contact with the sword while in combat (the grip), the chest/neck/head being the top of the sword (the pommel) and the cheeks of the mic character being the guard before the legs themselves turned into the blade.  Ideally I think it would look and work best as a one handed sword.  Most people use one handers especially in Oblivion and pushing a player to choose one may not be optional.  Then again this may smoosh the image too much and lose the intended look of the figure if it is indeed too small and would just look more appealing as a two hander.  Honestly, I would like to see if it would be possible if both were made.  As far as stats I don't think it should be enchanted at all and the stats shouldn't be anything over the top.  It's beautiful but a sword that one hit kills everything would instantly make this a -store in player house as trophy never to be used- type of item which would be a shame.  Maybe along the lines of a glass longsword/claymore or Akaviri katana.   The entire body at different angles.     Up-close shot of the mic head.     Shot of the spine of the mic.   Â
gregathit Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 That indeed would be a tough sucker to make a model of. It is WAY beyond anything I could pull off. Â
Guest †Foggy♥Sugar†Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Is there somewhere else I should try and post this? Â
gregathit Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Off the top of my head no. You can try another place but I am not sure if it will do any good.....probably can't hurt anyway. There are not very many active modders for oblivion anymore and even fewer with the ability to make something as detailed as that. Sad as it really is pretty damn cool!
Guest †Foggy♥Sugar†Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I don't really go to any other site unless it's Nexus but I don't talk on that site at all anymore.  Really sucks, I thought this would be amazing to have and I actually had a dream about it which is why it suddenly became a post at like 6:30am lol  I might try this out, I've never made anything but a fox tail and ears for Fallout and if you're scared of it I'm sure I'll mess it up pretty fast but if no one else is up for the challenge I might as well.  I know there are a lot of amazing Asian modders out there still doing stuff for Oblivion even with Skyrim out but I don't really usually visit their sites as I'm not really fluent in their language as a lot of people seem to be on this site.Â
Guest Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 you could ask the original author @ /www.twistedmoon.it, but i doubt he will be interested unless coin switches hands Â
Guest †Foggy♥Sugar†Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 The original creator is H. R. Giger.  Not the person on the Italian website.   Talking with a friend tonight and he is actually helping me to do this sword for Oblivion and Skyrim for one handers if it is possible.  He's already imported a body and I think tomorrow will look into more physical manipulations of the character including taking off the arms and making the waist smaller to better suit the style of the mic into a blade.  Hopefully we will have something to show later on though her head (or part of one) will be extremely challenging.  I'm looking forward to it even if others have seemingly abandoned an older game other then toon titties and ape dongs lol  Edit: I should add those jiggly butt bones too, those are adorable. Â
Demonwise Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 You know, and this is just me saying this, based on the pictures you gave us, this looks like it may better translate a an axe. In many ways the head closly resembles the even axe in skyrim.  Maybe I just don't see how it could be a sword. What would be the blade and what would be the handle? Or would it work better as a staff? One that would bludgeon enemies with 'sexy' and emit ultra-sonic waves of destruction from the head. That would be pretty trippy!
Guest †Foggy♥Sugar†Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I could see it as a staff actually.  As for an axe, it was personal taste honestly.  And the first game I wanted to see it in is Oblivion; which is what a friend of mine is working on now.  The head/chest/stomach and butt would not be the weapon part.  The stomach will be stretched slightly, making it the grip (where you physically hold the item during combat).  The chest and up will be the pommel.  The portion of the sword above the grip.  The butt would then be the guard, the base of the sword before the legs and and feet becoming the blade.  I actually have Loogie looking over this on his computer in front of me.  Also, I realize this is biomechanical but I don't want anything over the top including freakish emitters or strings of light or anything of the sort.  Not to be a fuddy duddy but I want it to scream out on it's own.  The design for this was beautiful and extremely erotic in it's own way and I want it to sing out as it is without any bells an whistles.  It's an amazing piece of art I've actually really admired for years.  The entire sword will be one shiny metallic material as the original piece is, without changing as the piece goes from top to bottom.  There's no leather or deviating materials on any part of the object.
Guest Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 was just saying, the italian dude already made a very detaild mesh and sculpt so maybe the mesh will be available, maybe not  i agree on the staff idea, would make a nice one for any steampunkish wizz / necromancer would also make a nice rifle xD  also you should not mind its biomeca looks, there are all kinds of similar stuff for oblivion including giger's alien race  if you can get this into the game in some form or another, i will try it
Guest †Foggy♥Sugar†Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Ah ok my mistake, I was afraid you thought that was the original creator and just wanted to make sure. Â
