DoctaSax Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I'd advise you to only install NVEC Error Corrections. The "complete" version has become a bit too much for me. Like: what the hell is that Ramones record doing in Doc M's house?
r1co7 Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 thank you dr sax trying to max out fnv between LL and nexus and adding lots of mods always helpful to get hints and tips from ppl who have tried them already

ChancellorKremlin Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 That was sort of my problem with A World Of Pain - wasteland hero and wasteland vigilante anyone? Why is there an armed to the teeth commando gladiator slave militia guy wandering around Goodsprings?

I'm just going from memory here, but most of what was good about MM got incorporated into NVEC EC - things that'd float, cell & worldspace corrections, that sort of thing. Haven't kept up to date with MM, but about a year ago I would've said NVEC was better, until it tried to do too much, the complete version at least. I'd have to look inside again to compare the error corrections version with MM. @CK: I hear ya.
BruceWayne Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Ah nothing like a bugfix mod, that tries to hard. Anyone still remember NVamp?
ChancellorKremlin Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I remember a week or two ago, when I was building "the ultimate" mod compilation for my play through that I looked up NVEC, but preferred just to install the recommended mods individually. It seemed like it was a bit too "drastic" for me. I've got a huge folder now with a ton of mods, archived and foldered, with notes inbetween as for order of installation, installation notes, incompatibilities, etc. Only just got Wyre Bash to work (how to you actually make a patch with it, btw?) and anyway... yeah, long story. Back to the OP though, my recommendation would be to browse what you think is good, and go from there. You should always take "compilation" mods with a pinch of salt.
r1co7 Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 very wise advice from all, thank you it was much appreciated still building the game up really looking for to make the game a lil more vibrant color wise so many things to do could take me weeks to get it rdy to play again thank you all
theskid Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 This depends on what you want from your experience. If you want an interesting, improved hardcore vanilla run through I recommend mission mojave (not the expanded version) with jsawer.esp loaded after. These are bug fixes and increased difficulty without adding extra content. NVEC essentially includes both those mods plus a boatload of extra content(i think they have over 100 mods built in now) that you may or may not want, sort of like FCOM for oblivion does, from what I can make out. It does look interesting, but it may not be what you are looking for.
