These two mods were deleted off the Nexus and I am wondering if someone has them, either partially or fully.

Hi they are loose texture files so it's a simple drag and drop.

 

 You just go to your FNV data folder e.g. "(Drive you installed FNV on):\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data" - go to textures -> interface -> icons ->pipboyimages -> karma icons, then paste the 4 .dds files, if prompted to overwrite click yes.

 

If you installed the vault girl interface mod the file structure is already set up as shown above; if not just create new folders to match (see screen shot).

no need to mess around with the creation kit or fnv edit.

Hello I was trying to use this with vortex for Fallout 3 but I'm not sure how to do it. I tried installing it but it apparently doesn't have FOMOD and I'm not sure where to place the files.

Hi,

 

There is no FOMOD because these are loose files.

 

you'll have to do a manual install unfortunately

 

All you have to do is; extract the zip files and copy them into your Fallout 3 data folder;

 

eg. "(drive you installed fo3 on):\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 OR (Fallout 3 GOTY)\Data"

 

and overwrite the files when prompted.

 

There are a few notes worth mentioning here;

 

1) there are different options for how the stats screen in the Pip-Boy is displayed; zipped, unzipped etc, chose ONE, they'll just overwrite each other otherwise.

2) if you are using DARN UI you will need to install this patch: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wXrYcx8MoApQu4BiGGQ1QZf5Caxqfq5k?usp=sharing after the main mod, this makes it so the limbs/limb condition meters aren't misaligned (overwrite when prompted).

Hi,

I can't post them to this site since I don't have permission from the original creator / current caretaker of the mod;

I just saved the mod for personal use and put the files on my google drive as an archive.

 

I'll re upload them to my google drive and see if that fixes the issue.

Links seems to be broken once again... Still, if not count an additional option,

 

1. FNV it's available in at least two other places, got a link from one of those, http://www.mediafire.com/file/qn4ffv3q44wdtio/Vault_Girl_NV%282%29.7z/file.

2. If you are using Vanilla UI Plus, Clean Vanilla Hud or Pip-Boy Icons, or all of this mods, then it will be required to install https://www.moddb.com/mods/vanilla-ui-plus/addons/vanilla-ui-plus-vault-girl-patch-nv as well.

 

Loading sequence will be matter also - first those 3 mods, then Vault Girl in manual way, it will be required to uncheck start_menu.xml to work proper, then patch,
