Hmm. I have Carnalitas Dei and CBO installed as well, so those shouldn't conflict.

Does the new culture show up? (should be under the "east slavic" culture group)
Does error.log mention "everpreg" anywhere? if not, then it seems that the mod may be disabled somehow.
What's your mod load order?

ps: remember that the "patches" of late are fans of the mod patches and not official patches or updates from the author. (as  of this point it may be that this mod is actually "dead" and needs to be taken up by a new person)

Yeah, I currently run CK3 v1.5.1. Haven't tried this on anything newer.
I aim to update this mod to  the current version of the game after I finish my current save, but that may take many months.
(Also in the midst of testing some balance changes, but have been busy IRL so haven't really gotten the chance to play recently)

Tested the forked version on 1.9.1 with the newer releases of Carnalitas.

  • With no changes, it'll crash to desktop when loading.
  • Removing the events/activities/everpreg_pilgrimage_activity folder prevents a CTD on 1.9.1, but results in the religious tenet icons being messed up.
  • Pilgrimage system got reworked at somepoint, so that most likely requires a full rewrite.

that is what happens, (It has always happened) when HiveBro was still around I messaged them about this as well. this mod was made before CBO (it relied on the older way of having nude model) CBO has more poly points than the mod uses, so it ends up doing that (AKA this mod is not compatible with CBO)

last time i played about this time last year i had it working 100% with cbo etc but the update to game pass one broke the mods and you cant rollback it like steam. ive tried matching the load order and mods exactly to the old mods folder which i have a copy of and the only issue is the spike balls.

Not really coming back to modding, but had some time and wanted to try to get Atalantea working again. I've uploaded a preliminary new version after some testing. Please let me know if any game breaking bugs come up and I'll do my best to fix them when I have time.

Some problems I saw at a glance : tenet images and pilgrimage have black/pink checker texture, Man at arms have placeholder texts and are ridiculously busted especially those with 150 size per units, you could refer to MAA units in Prince of Darkness mod to get a sense of the numbers to make it more balanced, I think Atlantean culture has should be Byzantine heritage instead of Slavic heritage due to the capital needing to be in Naxos, Eastern Roman tradition that is exclusive to the heritage fits well with the Atlantean special MAA being comprised of Heavy Infantry and Heavy Cavalry. The player models just look bizarre beyond the first 2 level, at maximum level the belly just become invisible with some spikes here and there around the torso, might want to add a special tenet that makes people naked like one the found in some Jain faith and apply that to woman so you don't have to deal with the numerous kind of clothing becoming a janky mess. There's a lot of room for improvement and it's nice to see you back.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll take a look at Prince of Darkness and see if I can't tweak some numbers. My head canon for the Atalanteans is that the deep ones originally crashed onto the planet in the area of the White Sea and then conquered southeast to the Black Sea and then the Mediteranean, which is why I gave them Slavic culture. Hadn't though about Eastern Roman tradition, though. Mechanically, it does make sense, so I think I'll change it and find another way to communicate that element of the civilization's backstory.

I've been trying to fix the tenet image/pilgrimage image. No luck so far, but I'm working on it.

For the spiky belly, can you confirm if you are using CBO or not? I designed the updated version of the mod with CBO in mind.

After you updated it, I have already translated it based on the original version and tried to refine it to make it more religious and sacred. Interesting. Perhaps try it without Better Barbershop? There's obvious clipping in my version, but no spiky bellies. Are you loading Atalantea after CBO?

God I am super happy you updated this again, I've seen a lot of fetish mods but this was the only one that I could find that could scratch my hyperpregnancy itch, even if it is only tentacles. Besides the fetishistic aspects I do also just appreciate some good eldritch horror and new mechanics

I've noticed some additional incompatibilities. Listed them in the download. Incompatibilities: 
* As a part of updating the mod, I created a custom pilgrimage activity specifically for holy wombs religions. There is an arrival event that triggers the womb growth. Unfortunately, it seems that some mods cause the event not to trigger (it is very fiddly). If you have issues triggering the effect, experiment with removing event mods to see if that helps. I know RICE creates problems, for instance. Certain religion mods do the same (Carnalitas Dei, unfortunately). 

* Certain mods seem to cause issues with the Holywomb Tenet. If you find opening tenet selection leads to crashes, try putting the "Traditional Tenets" mod into your load order. It erases selection of the Holywomb Tenet from the tenet list, but leaves the tenet intact in the Atalantean religion, and prevents the crashing. "Carnalitas Dei" fixes the problem too (completely), but it unfortunately seems to disable the womb growth event, which rather defeats the point. 

I'm looking into both of these issues. Hopefully I can fix them before my schedule picks up again and I have to drop modding for a decent while.

Updated with more compatibility work--especially with some elements surrounding genes. Also got the mod working on its own again. Still need to get the government elements working again, but that's a bigger project and no promise on time frame. Decided I don't like compatibility issues introduced by the UI overwrite from my old version of the mod, so I'm brainstorming how to add similar functionality to the government without UI editing.

The God Empress/Descendent trait gives you a spikey belly, and when you make a head of faith you become a theocracy and get a game over.

you do not change to the Atlantean Archesshood government type when forming the empire

I can't install the mod, something is wrong with the descriptor file, even if I add the path manually  the launcher doesn't take it.

 

Edit: Manually changing the path in the .mod file works, but keep in mind that it needs it forward slash (/) not the backslash(\) that you get from directly copying from the file explorer address bar

I'll go fix that descriptor file. Thanks for the heads up. For the immortality, you currently can't get it. You can get a form of immortality by ascending at the end of the Atalantean empire chain (think being declared Shaoshaint), though.
