When the character is standing or walking it looks off but sneaking confirmed that something is not working properly. When I first installed it, it worked fine and then I added a few mods more and it broke. pls help

I got like 15 of them and half have to do with physics/skeletons or skeleton fixes. that said i have narrowed it down to either OCPB or OCPBC. Should I even be using both of these at the same time?

No only one and only one working preset for 3B

My guess: ZeX is being overwritten by Knee Fix as they are not compatible unless you install in this specific way: 1. install Discrete Female Skeleton 2. install Skeletal Adjustments (but *not* legs for days version, as that one causes alignment problems during scenes) and in that installer, choose DFS Discrete Female Skeleton creates a seperate path for females, and the knee fix installer makes this a very easy thing to fix. If you have a previous build that you are working from, be sure you aren't using "Gender Specific Skeleton" as you would no longer need GSS once you install DFS. This should resolve the problem, if that is indeed what is conflicting. And I will link the Adult Guide if you have any other issues and haven't already been following it. Cheers 1

As the DFS mod author notes: "Custom race mods are not compatible with DFS, since the player/NPCs will no longer make use of the default HumanRace." DFS edits the humanrace record. Also, your load order is all over the shop.

When I installed OCBPC and MTM the problems switched, and despite removing those two and reinstalling everything, they've stayed switched. I think I got them to switch back once, but I don't remember what I did at that time

General issues between the ZeX Skeleton and 3bbb / Knee Fix boil down to this: They are inherently incompatible unless the work around of Discrete Female Skeleton + Skeletal Adjustments (knee fix) is used to separate the female skeleton path from ZeX's skeleton. I believe the proper method is as follows, after speaking with someone about it recently (and in this load order:) DFS / Knee Fix (not legs for days variant, but the one above it) OCBP CBBE version 3bbb MTM 3b version is optional but I would follow Nuka Cherry's advice above. Maybe there is an additional step between 3BBB and DFS that I'm missing, but this is pretty close as far as I'm aware. As for BodyTalk3 and CBBE: If you play as a male and want Looksmenu Sliders for your guy and are using BodyTalk3's latest version, you will not have those sliders unless you also install the "ZBG" mod. This is counterintuitive in my opinion since ZBG is not linked from FusionGirl (which also now requires ZBG for Looksmenu Sliders and bodygen), and the only mention of ZBG is in the change notes unless you look below that at the LoversLab feature of showing you other mods from the same mod author. And since BodyTalk doesn't currently have an official page apart from the Mod Author's Patreon, which also makes no mention of ZBG, There's no easy way of determining that it is needed. Neither FG nor BT will have Looksmenu sliders or bodygen support without ZBG installed. The requirement of ZBG for Sliders and Bodygen could be problematic if it interferes with using CBBE in the same mod load order but I have not tested this out. Since ZBG includes this feature for both FG and BT with no way to "Opt-in" to one and not the other, I find it to be rather anti-competitive if indeed it fucks with CBBE users. I really hope this is not the case, and I'm not here to bad mouth anyone or any mod, but these are observations that I and some others have made over the past few months. However, if you play as a female character with CBBE, and prefer BodyTalk, as far as I'm aware you don't need to (and should not) install ZBG and can live happily ever after. I am Dev of FG and BT and so I have met my obligations supporting them and making mods to make them play nicely together. Anything else is your responsibility. Granted, I didn't update the descriptions, cause i've been crazy busy and unless I'm being paid at minimum $22/hr to mod full time, I'm gonna give... what I can in attention. See if widdling it down to just those bare essentials makes any difference. This would rule out it being any issue with the other mods you have installed. If it still doesn't work with the basics (no race mods, nothing else, just default Nora and the stuff I listed) then we are still missing something. I would also suggest asking for help on their discord if their support thread doesn't answer the question. Spyder Arachnid Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 I noticed one thing in their load order that they didn't mention. They are using a custom race (Vulpine). So, things won't work the same as if they were just using the vanilla race. That's probably why nothing is working for them. From my understanding, custom races have special requirements on how to set them up (regarding skeletons and such). Not 100% sure on that, as I don't use a custom race, but I'm just assuming that is their issue. They should probably check the Vulpine race page to see how to setup the skeletons properly for it and then see if they still run into issues. 1
