okay, i doanloaded the episode1 remake and it just wont start.

it says it's not a correct executable whatsoever.

3 days of downloading for nothing.

Finally downloaded episodes 1-5 and played through the first episode of this and.. it's alright.

 

For those who may be reading this and not sure as to exactly what Whorecraft is (like I was), in simple terms, it's basically a story set in the World Of War-crack.. er, I mean craft, universe that you play through, and depending on simple dialog choices and where you go you can watch the main character (and random NPCs) get fucked throughout the story. Personally I felt the controls were a bit lacking, the comics you find were largely illegible due to text size and style making the words too pixelated, and there is no way to save your game as far as I can tell (at least with the first episode that seems to be the case), so you're stuck playing through the whole chapter in one sitting (or at least I was), which wouldn't be that big a deal if the game wasn't basically running back and forth a bunch of times to get to some sex scenes.

 

Anyway, those are my thoughts.

I can't even get the second episode to run. I've tried running it s Administrator, and running it in compatibility mode for Windows 8 (which can also be an issue sometimes), but it fails to launch every time. Not sure what the issue is.

For me everything is working fine. I'm running Windows 10 tho.

 

Episode 1 has only Quicksave (Press F5).

Future Episodes (2-5) have manual saving.

 

Didn't play the new Chapter 2 Episodes yet. But im sure they have that too.

No, I didn't run the INSTALLER as Admin, I ran the launcher as Admin. I guess I'll try reinstalling it as admin and see what happens. I'm also using Windows 10.

 

Thanks for the save button tips, I wish I had known about that sooner. It's kind of odd, finding out specific information on the game seems to be tricky, or at least I've found it somewhat challenging.

 

The version I downloaded was in torrent form and came with a walkthrough and some other stuff.

So is Whorecraft any good? I tried downloading, but their shit-ass download provider only offers ridiculous download speeds unless you pay, AND the fuckers keep killing my downloads seconds before they should be finished, forcing me to restart.

So it's now almost impossible to find the old games in the series, since Auril deleted anything and everything to do with them. Any topics asking about them get deleted immediately. I asked why the walkthroughs needed to be deleted and I got banned for it. Real classy.

well i have all him or her patch game from  Whorecraft Episode 1 v1.6.1 to Whorecraft Episode 5 v1.01 and that XXXmes Episode .. but dont know can upload here or not

Normally pirated shit is a no go... but this content was released free to the public, so I don't think I would qualify it as pirated. LOL which is funny to think about since she is using pirated assets to begin with. I think this is just sharing released work. Like sharing a mod you found on nexus, as long as you don't claim that this is your work then it should be ok. Auril never said not to share it, she just removed her old work, not stating to the public that they couldn't share. If Auril wants to protest she can, and it would then be removed.

 

My gut says it's ok to create links from Mega or whatever and link them here. Can always send a moderator a personal message and ask directly if you want an official answer.

But still i've got some problems with the chapter 2's episodes, the prologue crash at the launch and the graphic are weird on the episode 3 and the epilogue.

I'm getting weird graphics with Tails of Azeroth as well, as though the entire window is blurred.

"You need to delete OST_Game folder in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\"

 

you will need to do this every time you want to launch.  it also seems to resolve the CTD errors.
