Crota Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 I have Mod organizer to manage my mods and I want to delete a bunch of sound files from one of my mods but I cannot find where they are stored. The mod creator says they are in Data/sounds/ etc. but my data folder has no sound folder, even though all my sounds play fine in game. I also tried looking in the mod directory where mod organizer installs my mods to, which is not under the skyrim directory. Anyone know where they are located? The mod in question is Sex slaves (Mia's Lair) if that helps.
chaimhewast Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 When you're using Mod Organizer properly, none of the mod files should be in your Data folder. Each mod's files resides in its respective subfolder in MO's "mods" folder.

Can they be implemented into a .bsa file or something?

You mean Sex Slaves 6.2? it has a loose and BSA downloads: With MO you can unpack BSA files and explore their content: in the right panel go to the "Archives" tab, find the BSA for the mod in question and right click on it then select Extract (then you can chose where to extract these files, choosing the folder in which the mod is installed - so "...\MO2\mods\<mod name>" - should be enough to get the files in the proper place to be used in game). You can also check the \Data folder by going to the "Data" tab in the right panel. There you can see a folder tree of every mod file and you can see which mod is providing each file by checking the "Mod" column there. I guess you'll need to replace your BSA version of the mod for the loose one or unpack the BSA. Then you can remove these sound files and repack it as a BSA if you want to.
