sar12 Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 So iaft had been working wondefully but today I used loot for the first time (opened loot through the exe in mod manager and thought running it there would do the trick,) so now iaft shoes me something like recruit neutral missing(mod conflict), I am not using aft(though I was when it worked fine) no ufo, no eff only iaft, new game does not fix the issue, aft seems to work fine on the previous saves. Someone please help me, I loved the auto clothing switch feature of the mod
Gukahn Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 your follower Framework should be near the bottom of your Load order, regardless what loot says. Just let it load directly after everything that specificly says it has to be one of the Last Mods to load and it "should" fix it. For me at least it did when i still used AFT.

Rubbish do you have any evidence for this, other than your own experience? I use EFF and the esm is at number 14 in my load order and the esp at number 204 of 230. The problem here is user error.

If it works it works. never claimed to be an expert and i will never say that my experience are the top solution. But many times they seem to work not only for me so why not throw them in? If your loard order works for you and somebody ask a question for you might have a solution why not give him the info you have and see if it works for them?

Because you wrote this: 17 hours ago, Gukahn said: your follower Framework should be near the bottom of your Load order, regardless what loot says. as if it was gospel rather than just your ill-informed opinion. Loot has been around for years and is used by tens of thousands (?) of users on a daily basis. Do you think your limited knowledge and experience qualifies you to dismiss it so glibly?

Nothings rubbish, some mods conflict with aft and the mid author stated himself to keep it as far down in your mod list as possible plus no ones talking about eff now, this js about aft so I would like advice from people who actually use the mod, if you still don't believe me then google the problem, you'll find many people having this problem who fixed it by dragging it down, before I used loot mine wasn't at the bottom either. One last thing, the author of aft also mentioned that loot does this when answering someone, the only I'll informed person is you

One last thing, the author of aft also mentioned that loot does this when answering someone, the only I'll informed person is you I have used both AFT and IAFT in the past and never had to dick about with my load order. Mod authors always say that their mod should be last - it's a cop out to head off a lot of posts about problems. If you listened to all the advice about putting the plug-in last then most of your plug-ins would have to come last. IAFT hasn't been updated since 2016 so it is hardly cutting edge advice being given. And just because someone has made a mod does not mean that they are automatically experts on all aspects of modding Skyrim. My point in mentioning EFF was to illustrate that the comment: 2 hours ago, Grey Cloud said: your follower Framework should be near the bottom of your Load order was rubbish.
