PhoenixFlyer324 Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 For some reason none of the animations work for me, it plays the sounds and it says that the animations are playing but they don't actually play, the characters just move into each other and just stand there doing idle animations. The animation mods I have downloaded are Horny Creatures Of Skyrim, More Nasty Critters and Billy's Creature Animations. I have all the mods they require downloaded aswell, such as SexLab, SexLab Anim Loader, Aroused Creatures, SexLab Aroused, FNIS and Creature Framework. I don't know much about modding, I use Vortex so if possible can I get a solution without having to manually mess around with files, but if not can someone explain what I should do in the simplest way possible.Â

The first is that you have not registered your animations. When you next start your game, go into the SLAL McMenu and register the animations. Until you do this they will not play properly. The other possibility is that you do not have the proper skeleton. Make certain that you have the XPMSSE skeleton and that your character or relevant NPCs are not using a custom skeleton (this is not uncommon with follower mods). If you have the skeleton run FNIS THROUGH VORTEX in order to determine if something else has written over your skeleton.
PhoenixFlyer324 Posted January 1, 2021 Author Posted January 1, 2021 I have registered them and checked to make sure they are registered and I have XPMSSE. What do you mean by running FNIS through Vortex?
redgreenjester Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Fores New Idles in Skyrim SE - FNIS SE  this is a mod that helps with custom animations , you need to install this and run it. I don't know to much about how it works but you can look up these guys Â
sassoundwave Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 I sometimes have this too. Pressing ] in game re aligns the animation and also makes it show.  This is under assumption that you have ran fnis and registered them.Â

The animations are in the game, there in the menus and I've enabled them all, I'm even getting the HCOS animations  in the loading screens and everything, I have FNIS loaded after everyone of the animation mods I have installed, do I need to do the same with XPMSSE? The only thing that might be the issue is that it says Billy Animations and HCOS are designed for a different game, Oldrim. But I doubt it since I have other mods that say that yet they work perfectly fine.Â

If it's an animation and FNIS is telling you hkx files are incompatible then yes, this is totally part of the problem. Start using properly ported mods. The only way to get away with using mods made for LE is if you know what you're doing (there are some files and type of mods that can work as it is, other don't and will require a port procedure, animations are one of these files).
PhoenixFlyer324 Posted January 4, 2021 Author Posted January 4, 2021 I got it working, I re-watched the video and realised I forgot to to make the FNIS.Data in Vortex. So it's working now. Now I'm wondering how to actually see some of the animations, HCOS and Billy Animations have creature on creature animations but I don't know how to see them to make sure they are working aswell, is it just random or is there something I'm missing?Â
iEdge Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 I got this issue too but I use Mod Organizer 2 not Vortex.
Gedrin Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 okay so I keep being told that it can't find suppressible tags file. hoe can I fix this? I think that is why my animations are not playing.
