Hook5.custom skins-HELP!

Hey guys.

could someone please take the time to explain to me how to convert the customskin for hook5 from 7.5 to VX? ..and also if you have a link to skins, or can point me to the right place ?

 

Ive been wanting to change from 7.5 to vx but just dont understand how to setup hook5 correctly in vx.

For the most part the setup is the same. Your hook folders are not going to change. What will change is how the texture files in your skin folders are named. That said when it comes to skins VC names skins differently.

 

If the textures are 4x textures...you need to add the "mod_" prefix in front of the texture files, even though this should not prevent it from showing up in Customizer. VX skin textures should be named: 

 

Female_White_Body.png  Female_African_Body.png  Male_White_Body.png  Male_African_Body.png  etc.... 

 

If you are using 4X textures: mod_Female_White_Body.png. 

 

You need 5 main textures in every skin folder, Body, Hands, Feet, Head, and Genital

Hi you all,  a question about a similar issue - I downloaded 2 bodies from the textures tab - all they include is a .txx in one of the links and .bs [bsb] files in another link under /scenes/shared/body.

basically I'm not sure I understand how to manipulate tk17 to make those bodies appear , or be chosen as an option under a character customization.

all other folders I have in my activeMod folder have another content - looks like in the attached image.

 

what file or settings do I change to be able to see all those skins?

I have folders like the one in the image that I can see when going through the skin base in the body customization.

* how do I add files like .bs or txx skins? is it even a skin file?

*maybe a hook5 more related- how do I make one of the other bodies in C:\TheKlub17\Mod\ActiveMod\_hook5data\SkinMale\Stage1_diffuse (and 3 others) to appear in the game?
