ajmccssjoer Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I deleted my previous modmanager voltex because that program was given me all kinds of problems and installed modmanager 2. I installed my mods and the first issue I have is my LE mods modmanager is saying are 43 but that all I have to do is open and save them with the creation kit which I do not know how to do. The second problem which is more serious is that none of the mods I installed with modmanager 2 are showing up in the game. I don't know how to correct this. I created a claim with Bethesda whp said I should talk to the makers of modmanager2 I tried that earlier trying to reach them on Discord with no luck so Bethesda is useless. Is their a was i can set up the game without a modmanager I downloaded the game thru my steam account. Does anyone here no how to correct my problem. Please let me know. Thank You DxDiag.txt MSinfo32.txt
Grey Cloud Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 So Vortex was giving you problems? It was nothing to do with you was it? I'm guessing that 'mod manager 2' is Mod Organiser 2, in which case you can't even get the name right. 21 minutes ago, ajmccssjoer said: I installed my mods and the first issue I have is my LE mods modmanager is saying are 43 but that all I have to do is open and save them with the creation kit which I do not know how to do. I'm guessing again here but you seem to be talking about Form 43. Why this is popping up with your mod manager I don't know. 23 minutes ago, ajmccssjoer said: The second problem which is more serious is that none of the mods I installed with modmanager 2 are showing up in the game. I don't know how to correct this. Simple. Learn how to use your mod manager. Then learn how to mod Skyrim. 24 minutes ago, ajmccssjoer said: I created a claim with Bethesda whp said I should talk to the makers of modmanager2 I tried that earlier trying to reach them on Discord with no luck so Bethesda is useless. The problem has nothing to do with Bethesda, the makers of MO2, Vortex or any other piece of software. The problem rests solely with your ignorance. 26 minutes ago, ajmccssjoer said: Is their a was i can set up the game without a modmanager Yes there is but you would be in a bigger mess than you are now. Do some serious research on how to install and use the various applications needed to mod Skyrim and then do the same for actually modding Skyrim. The more time and effort you put in at the beginning, the less hassle you will have in the future.

RohZima Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Anyway. To give you some advice. For the simplest experience to get you going I'd probably just recommend using nexus mod manager. As you can see it's still developed. And just install the mods gradually, checking as you go. No need to contact bethesda/zenimax/president trump, about your modding issues. https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases
ChSkane Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Nothing's wrong with MM or the game, it's you who fucked up during MM installation. Read the instructions properly and follow them and you shouldn't have a problem.
