klatti Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Hi, Shot problem description: When activating funiture (chair, grindstone, alchemy, mining,....) the scene is starting and stopping directly aferwards. I know this is a common problem and there are tons of "might fix the problem" attemps on this. It might also be that a solution will always be very specific on the instalation setup BUT after years of struggling with this issue, including: 1. Load a save game where it does not happen 2. Reinstall your whole setup 3 .and a bunch of other solutions... I wonder if there is a mod or something similar that override/fix this script pidgin just as easy as describing the isse. Everytime I get this issue I know, dude you will start from scratch in a few hours. I wonder how many hours/days this is already part of my live. Of course there are situations where activation is blocked so you cannot even activate funiture. This is also controlled by zaz mod but I wonder this is contolled by tai on/off, not breaking the animation. Animations not including vanilla funiture works fine. If anyone know the fire-and-forget solution for this I would be really appreciated when sharing it. Many thanks
Fotogen Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 Last time I had this issue was because I had a bounty. Guard wanted to say I should pay or go to jail, but couldn't. It a quest with "forcegreet". When talked to that guard, paid my bounty, the problem with furniture went away.
anjenthedog Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Can't speak to any others, but for mining, make sure you're not equipping a weapon when you begin mining. That usually results with me standing in a partial t-pose and requires fixing my player using a crafting station. In addition, of course you can't mine when an enemy is nearby, so there's that. Possibly also some sort of carry limit issue, although I can't say as I cheated my way out of weight limits within weeks of beginning the game.
