Removing during-sex dialog from LoversVoice

Apologies in advance if this isn't quite a technical-support question, but it feels like it is, so...shrug!

 

I'm trying to get LoversPurificationLITE installed, and LoversVoiceSSPplus is a requirement. I'm all for partners having a bit more flavour and variety, but I'm not very keen on having a bunch of text popping up during sex; the things characters say during sex in hentai and other porn always throws me out of the experience, and all the lines I've seen so far are having the same effect. So I'm looking for a way to turn off that specific content without, y'know, not using the mod. Requirements and all that.

 

I saw in the LoversVoice thread that someone was not seeing dialog during sex (unintentionally), and it turned out it was because of LoversHideMenus.esp. I'd be happy with that as a solution, except that mod is real old, and I can't find any information about if it's compatible with the most recent LAPF. So I guess my questions are:

 

- Is LoversHideMenus.esp compatible with LAPF 1.6a1? And if so, where can I get it at this point?

- If not, is there another mod that would accomplish the same thing? Preferably without adding a bunch of other features I'm probably not going to use (avoiding menu and mod clutter is one of the reasons I'm using Purification in the first place ?).

- If not, can anyone think of another way to hide or remove the during-sex dialog? Preferably a method that doesn't involve going into the mod and deleting ohboyabunch of lines, with all the potential pitfalls that would bring?

If LoversHideMenus.esp  causes that you do not see the dialogs during sex  it will also block dialogs from other Mods. And maybe you must see the dialogs/messages.

No good idea.

You can remove the Lovers Adult Play Plus for SSP + Lovers Voice SSP Plus  requirements/masterfiles form the LoversPurificationLITE  esp

Or you delete all the dialogs in  Adult Play Plus for SSP + Lovers Voice SSP Plus .  Only the dialogs, the text, not the IDs

I just checked the LoversPurificationLITE  esp

The master files are SHIT

Lovers with PK.esm    fine

LoversMB2.esp     What here ? The esp should be at the end of the load order !!!

Lovers with PK.esp  Why ? normally no Mod needs the esp ! Only the esm

Adult Play Plus for SSP.esp     must be before Lovers with PK.esp in load order

Lovers Voice SSP Plus.esp    must be before Lovers with PK.esp in load order

 

The Mod is only for the Mod author, no one else has such a load order !

 

With the right load order you would have

Oblivion.esm

Lovers with PK.esm  

Adult Play Plus for SSP.esp   

Lovers Voice SSP Plus.esp 

Lovers with PK.esp 

LoversMB2.esp  

 

Who the hell messes up their load order just to play a mod ?

So try to remove  Lovers with PK.esp Adult Play Plus for SSP.esp    and  Lovers Voice SSP Plus.esp  .  And move the LoversMB2 esp at the end

that should be all master files.

 

EDIT:  

You can not load LoversMB2.esp  above Lovers with PK.esp ! It is a masterfile of MB2 !!!!

The Mod can Not work with that masterfile order. How can you start your game ?

Thanks for the reply! Old as Oblivion is, I wasn't sure how much activity this forum still gets.

 

Based on my experience with Lovers mods in past playthroughs, I don't believe there is any text that might come up during sex that I would miss (unless you meant dialog from other mods outside of sex might not show up; please let me know if I'm misunderstanding). There might be important text during sex for pregnancy, slavery, or quest mods, but I'm not using any of those, so it's a risk I might be willing to take. But that's entirely dependent on whether or not the mod is available still, or if there is a suitable replacement.

 

Regarding the master file changes, I've done some tweaking to Oblivion mods before, and I know HOW to remove master file requirements, but I'm not sure what this will do, exactly. Will it break functionality between the mods? Am I supposed to deactivate LoversVoiceSSPPlus.esp as well, since it has the content I'm trying to hide?

 

...And why is MB2 in there at all? It's not a listed requirement for any of these mods. o_O

But other Mods  can diplay text during animations. Not a Lovers Mod.

 

And I made edits in my post above. The Mod can not Work. read it.

 

I will try to check the esp and fix the master files ( because now I can not Load the Mod with TES4Edit . With the master files in right Order  I can not load if because MB2 must be below Lovers with PK.esp  and when I move MB2 below the Lovers PK esp  I can not load it because wrong load order for the LoversPurificationLITE  esp )

 

I think you do not need Lovers with PK.esp , Adult Play Plus for SSP.esp   ,  Lovers Voice SSP Plus.esp  and MB2

I fixed the load order so I was able to laod the esp with TES4Edit.

You really need all the Mods

 

LoversPurificationLITE   use dialogs from Adult Play Plus for SSP.esp   AND  Lovers Voice SSP Plus.esp 

It change 7 Lovers with PK esp scripts

It change one MB2 script

And one Adult Play Plus for SSP.esp  /  Lovers Voice SSP Plus.esp  script

If you want to play any other Lovers mods without errors better do not use LoversPurificationLITE.

It is a soft requirement of several mods.  You don't have to have it.  But if you do, the other mods will take advantage of it and you can use the settings of MB2 to control that activity. 

Plus it is nifty to sneak into a room and see someone going at it.

Yeah, he wanted to not have sex dialog appear, so...

Just a little ESP mod I cobbled together.  When sex occurs, this stops Lovers with PK from displaying the LoversVoiceSSPplus sex conversations, by sending all requests to a blank/empty conversation record that I just made.  Ergo, no sex text. 

 

Now, some mods do the same thing:  Dark Bloodline for example.  So it would be placed after Dark Bloodline.  Hell, you could put it after all of 'em if you wanted to make sure.

Soooo trying to mod Oblivion exhausts me sometimes, and I end up stepping away from the game for a while until the excitement and energy return. Usually my own fault, because I'm greedy and try to install so many mods, but that's neither here nor there. I'm back into it now, about halfway through getting my current configuration set up, and just wanted to thank you for figuring out how to make my requested change possible. I haven't been able to use the notext and fixed Purification esps yet, but I'll be implementing all my desired Lovers mods soon and am looking forward to playing the game with these settings. Maybe this time, with sexy options more constrained, I'll actually finish the main quest! ? (No assurances on how long it will take...)

Hmm. Unfortunately that didn't take; I'm still getting sex dialog subtitles whenever there's sex going on. Lovers load order below, using the modified .esp fejeena provided above.

BOSS puts Purification between LoversNeed and LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP, which makes absolutely no sense to me (and doesn't let Oblivion load), so I've been moving it to the bottom.

 

If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. LoversIdleAnimsPriority and LoversAnimObjectsPriority are both at the bottom as instructed, below the Bashed Patch. I can provide more load order if it'd be helpful, but hoo boy is it long.

Okay... bored now.   SO I went into LoversVoiceSSPPlus and DELETED EVERY sex dialog subtexts that appears during sex.

Literally shrunk it down a Meg in size.

Oh gosh... You didn't have to do that! ? If that was the only option remaining, I would've eventually worked up the nerve and know-how to do it myself...or maybe just settled for AdultPlaySSP.

 

I've tested it and it does exactly what I'd hoped for. Which is...disorienting! I'm not at all used to wanting something and just sort of...getting it. X) But I'm supremely grateful. Seriously, thank you very, very, extremely much. ?
