Outfit Studio Issue

Hi everyone.. I have an issue with a mesh that looks rig ht in Bodyslide and Outfit Studio.. but clips in-game

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix?

There are obviously different body weights involved and looking at your screen shot of the armor I noticed it didn't have any sliders

 

So my initial guess is that it isn't set up to use body slides. 

 

What is the armor? What body are you using?

The bodyslide data is there. I just imported the gauntlets from my mesh folder. I even had them fitted to my BHUNP hands but that doesn't give desired results either?

and you are using the BHUNP body

 

Which body slide preset you use? or do you have a custom one you build?

It's custom.. but for this particular outfit, I haven't gotten around to converting it to BHUNP yet however. I only converted the gloves to see if it would help

Oddly, this outfit comes with an additional esp. I don't think it has to be loaded like some other outfits I find from Chinese websites and the like

What you are seeing in game is that the forearm is expanding with whatever slider you are using, while the glove which partially covers the forearm is not expanding in the same way

 

which usually means that a slider being used on the body is not present on the hand

If you run the two projects together it doesn't take a lot of slider movement to get the forearms from the body to lose compatibility with the gloves

if you go into 

 

BodySlide and Outfit Studio\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderPresets

 

you should see an XML file with your presets name

 

up load that

The good news is, you haven't done anything wrong. 

 

The outfit is just not very well designed for major size differences especially in the arms. Hands do not have the same slider sets as bodies do and to have the hand part extend over the arms is just asking for clipping to happen.

 

The best fix is to build the body and the gloves using your preset then manually fix the clipping, which I can do for you. You will not be able to rerun body slide on this outfit after without breaking the fix though. But it should look ok in game.

Morphs are built in bodyslide and afaik can't be altered in Outfit studio. So they would be broken 

 

But you could try this.

 

Rebuild the top with morphs in bodyslide but not anything else. (the only things I changed are the gloves and the pants) 

 

As long as no in game morph altered the forearms too much you shouldn't see any clipping.
