CTD on new game

Here is what's up. I had to reformat my PC, so I made a backup of the important things. I backed up my mod setup, enboost, and my .ini files. Once I installed everything, I restored the backups and put everything as it was before. I didn't keep the saves, since I decided to start a new game anyways. The problem is that the game crashes as soon as I start a new game or load any save from the vanilla game. I have tried everything I know, but nothing works. I am really at my wits end and need some help here. I'll attach my load order and the last papyrus log. Hopefully  someone can give me a hand here.

You did reinstall the game and not just paste it back?

It was a fresh reinstallation.

I am skeptic about keeping old things in a new install. Specially inis and ENBs. But then, I am very superstitious ?. Just for curiousity. Did you try to start a new game with fresh ini files and without ENB installed? I would take those steps first before I would start removing any mods.

 

One thing: I checked ur log and the load order. It complains about not finding EMCompViljaSkyrim.esp, annasnpcs.esp and hotfollower.esp. I could not find those mods in your load order?

I did start the game full vanilla and all's good. Now I am checking mod by mod to see which one is causing CTD. I have no idea which mod would be asking for follower mods I've not used in a very long time. But thanks for the info; that might help me find the problem.

What mod manager are you using? More importantly, does your mod manager show that you are missing a master? Many of our most important "mods" (like SKSE) don't show up in a load order and missing a master is the most common cause of your problem (at least now that there in an animation limit fix).

I'm using MO2. No masters are missing. I am familiar with the structure of MO and know how to make it work with tools and everything. That's why I'm at such distress. I have been using MO2 for quite some time and now I seem to have reached some weird wall. As I've been testing my load order mod by mod, I've encountered mods that have no reasons for causing CTDs as far as I know. For example, EVG Conditional Idles is causing me CTDs, even though I have all the requirements installed, and when I look into the papyrus log, there is no mention of the mod in there (The index number assigned to EVG in my load order is not cited in the log). The gods must be punishing me somehow...

Anyways, after hours of completing a purge that rivals that of Stalin during the Soviet Union, I managed to figure something out. It turns out that my game was crashing due to some plugins that used SKSE without any .esp of their own (which might explain why I couldn't find them in the papyrus log), among one or two that just refused to cooperate with me. At least I can play the game now.

As I remember, GreenTea (a compilation of mods made by Felisky), Pee and Fart, and, strangely enough, some SLAL packages (I do not remember which ones).

Still not convinced.

CTD at start up is generally missing masters or too many character animations.

I can't see how a mod without an esp accessing SKSE would be a problem. I don't see what the esp has to do with it or why a mod would have to 'access SKSE' anyway.
