Sims 4 Last exception help

Hi guys, I have been experiencing LEs much more frequently after the recent 1.68.156.1020 update. The LE pops up unexpectedly and randomly during gameplay, sometimes ranging from 1/2 hr to 1 hr which made it very hard to troubleshoot even with the 50/50 method :( . I am currently at my wits end here so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Looks like a random error to me - especially since it pops up every now and then, and 50/50 doesn't help as well.

Have you tried playing with mods disabled? If the issue persists, it's likely a bug in vanilla (SE introduced a few from what I've read around here).

Have you updated all you Kawaii Stacie mods like Slice of Life, etc.

And checked all your LittleMsSam mods for updates.

Extreme Violence

Devious Desires & Sims 4 Community Library

MCCC

Plus all other script mods.

I'd start from scratch and move all mods to a temp folder on your desktop first.

Delete your localthumbcache.pkg and test game without any mods.

You could also try just leaving cc installed and just remove everything else.

Then test in game again as It's most likely an outdated script mod or tuning mod.

If game works fine now just add back in Wicked Whims + Animations and MCCC and test again.

Just don't make any new saves with mods removed.

Eventually you'll find the problem but you need to make sure an un-modded game works first.

I'd even try an Origin Repair just in case.

Thanks a lot for the swift replies guys! I will search for the mod updates first and test it out followed by repairs. I will update if the LE's still pops up. I hope this would help other players experiencing similar issues as well....
