shanyu Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Installed AAF and its general dependencines, including RSEII abductions and hardship. Only other notable mods are workshop framework, workshop plus, and workshop rearranged. On a New Game. All appeared to work well. However, although workshop mode worked fine at the beginning of the game, now, around level 8 (possibly coincidentally after surviving an abduction), any time I access workshop mode, my character is equipped with devious devices. The devices are hidden from pip-boy inventory but visible, with effects enabled. I can find them and remove them via console, but they immediately get re-applied on entering workshop mode at any settlement. They're always the same devices. I tried a new game, and again, sometime after an abduction this began occurring. Different set of devices, but then the same set of devices every time after that. Aside from writing a bat file to run every time I access workshop, I haven't found a reliable way to prevent this. Uninstalling the mods just leads to a save that just crashes. Has anyone encountered this? Any ideas?

As far as I know RSE mods is not supported anymore and can lead to game problems You can try disable them and workshop mods, to clean save there is resaver tool on nexus, you can try it after you will backup your saves
shanyu Posted November 25, 2020 Author Posted November 25, 2020 It does seem to be related to workshop plus. I disabled every option there and the issue went away. Uninstalling it kills the save, it seems, but that might just work well enough for now. I'd only added RSE since some other mods referenced the extended abductions in their notes. If I end up restarting, I'll make sure to remove it. Thanks!
