I have been using these mods for a while now. It dawned on my, how does one know if there is an update available?

[Just Don't]

There is a Follow button in the top-right corner of any file/post. Press it and you'll be able to set a notification whenever there is a change or new content. In the case of files you should get a notification if there is a new file to download or the description is changed. In the case of forum posts you'll get a notification if there are new replies since you last visited that post.

Example: you press Follow, first setting is selected by default, then you can press the Follow button below and you're done. You can unfollow posts and files by using the same buttons (or if you click in your <username> in the top-left corner of the website and select "Manage Followed Content").
