SimianJyhad Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 I posted this elsewhere about a week ago I have never had this particular problem out of bodyslide or with the affected outfits I am using Mod Organizer2 I am using the 3bbb body for CBBE In bodyslide I set to build with the 3bbb amazing body and a set of sliders that give me a lot of variation in body builds from 0 weight to 100 weight I set the tick box for Build morphs and run the batch build. everything builds with no errors and I turn the output of bodyslide into a mod from the overwrite folder in game all outfits show EXCEPT a large number of SMP enabled outfits that I have never had trouble with before those outfits make the character invisible from the neck to wrists to calves. I can see those outfits in bodyslide and when I preview them they show properly now. I tried deleting the output from bodyslide and redoing the batch build I have tried building those outfits individually and got the same issue I have been testing my attempts at fixing it with Sunjeongs DragonSacrifice SMP outfit. as that one is easiest and I happen to have it in inventory. the outfits used to work properly before I had to reinstall my OS and redo my mod list in Skyrim completely. I downloaded all the files fresh for the latest build of Skyrim and everything seems to work except these SMP enabled outfits. Halp! I am stuck for what to try next
SimianJyhad Posted November 9, 2020 Author Posted November 9, 2020 Addendum to previous: I tried disabling CBPC and SMP both seperately and together thinking some weird interraction was going on since all the affected outfits are SMP enabled. nope still got the invisible body. I have tried rebuilding the outfits with the CBBE special body and that did me no good either. I am stumped
anjenthedog Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 You note that you "created a mod using the output from bodyslide". Does that mod reference all the necessary textures? If it doesn't, that could result in blank space where armor (and armored body) is supposed to be.

SimianJyhad Posted November 10, 2020 Author Posted November 10, 2020 update: after reloading the relevant sunjeong gear mods and running those specific groups through bodyslide. only two outfits make the body disappear and both outfits appear perfectly in bodyslide preview but in game they make the torso disappear. I tried walking around in them to see if they would appear but they dont. I tried running just those two sets through bodyslide and the same thing occurs. no errors just the torso/body part causing the torso and most of the legs/arms disappear looking at the bodyslide output there isnt a NIF file outputted with the TRI morph files could that be an issue? would tracking down the nif for both of those suits and putting them in the output folder with the TRI file help? hell I am not even sure how I would do that if they are in some sort of archive bsa
anjenthedog Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Afaik, each armor piece should have an accompanying nif (two actually, one for body weight 0 and one for body weight 100), so maybe try fitting each of those two armors individually instead of via batch
SimianJyhad Posted November 10, 2020 Author Posted November 10, 2020 SSedit showed no outstanding conflicts except when I ran the Show conflict losers script and that showed two locations but no conflicts with any of the clothing. and I am not good enough with it to tell if all the references are right I tried disabling the output of bodyslide to see if it would look in the sunjeong folder and find the texture/mesh and it did not got the same invisible body issue I cant help thinking that its a problem with bodyslide not outputting two nifs for 0 and 100 weight but a lot of the armor and clothign is like that but they show up in game
anjenthedog Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Quote but a lot of the armor and clothign is like that but they show up in game Afaik, every piece of armor has a pair of nifs to go with its textures, from gloves to body pieces to shoes etc.
SimianJyhad Posted November 11, 2020 Author Posted November 11, 2020 okay gonna delete the output folder again and try rebuilding the armors from scratch and see if that works this time I have been googling this issue and trying fixes as I find them and so far none of them have worked. in fact I think I am going to redownload and reinstall sunjeongs armor set from here if I can find it again
SimianJyhad Posted November 11, 2020 Author Posted November 11, 2020 well shit. apparently sunjeong pulled the collection I was wanting entirely from here and has not reposted it on her site. well fuck there went that Idea of redownloading it

I can uninstall a mod.....but unless I tell it to "delete archive" - I still can reinstall that mod. It's not "gone". Vortex keeps the archive. Does MO2 not have that option?

Does MO2 not have that option? oh it does, it keeps everything in a seperate folder. the trouble is I wanted to redownload a particular archive of sunjeongs on the off chance that my copy got partially corrupted. I am grasping at straws here to figure out what is causing these last two outfits (which happen to be my favorite ones} to not show in game but instead my my characters torso invisible the archive I wanted is apparently no longer available even on her site
DoggosBone Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 it might be the esp of the outfit. using xedit check in armor addons that the parts of the outfit references the correct path for the nif you built in bodyslide under female world model and that nothing overriding this.

I looked at the esp in xedit and found in the location you mentioned that it was looking in armor\dragonpriestess\outfitf_1.nif however the actual location it was all placed in modorganizer is AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\SkyrimSE\mods\[SUNJEONG\meshes\00_ArsDazCnv\Dragon Priestess so I am assuming I need to figure out where bodyslide put the mesh and change the female world model address to the actual location or would it be the bodyslide output location? turns out I just needed to change the name of the file from outfitf_1.nif to dress_1.nif so I am off to find the other outfit if possibnle and figure out why CBPC or HTP-SMP arent working right thanks a million for your help
