SKSE not creating Co-Saves

So I updated Skyrim to the latest version and did a big cleanup of my modlist with updating mods and such during the last couple days.

I noticed some weirdness going on with mods reinitialzing after every load and especially Schlongs of Skyrim giving me the "SOS can not find 1 schlong addon(s). The savegame data do not match the data from the SKSE co-save." Error.

I then created a testing profile on MO2. The following mods are enabled:

Spoiler

skse64 data files 2.00.19

SkyUI SE 5.2

Schlongs of Skyrim SSE - 1.1.4

Alternate Start - Live another Life 4.1.3

The load order looks like this:
Skyrim.esm

Spoiler

Update.esm

Dawnguard.esm

HearthFires.esm

Dragonborn.esm

Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm

SkyUI_SE.esp

Schlongs of Skyrim.esp

SOS - VectorPlexus Regular Addon.esp

Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp

I load into the game, create a char. Save. Reload the save and... still the same error message.

So then I head into my MO2 saves folder and notice that there are no .skse files. My SKSE for some reason doesn't create any SKSE files.

As a sanity check I reinstalled SKSE.

Skyrim version: 1.5.97.0.8

SKSE64: 2.0.19 rel6

I'd appreciate your help /:

Canot see it, but just an idea

some skse files need to be copied directly into skyrim, won't work with organizer.

did you check this ?

Yes. I dumped the contents of the zip, including the data folder, into the skyrim root folder and then added the data folder as a mod to MO2 just to make sure.

If you did the manual install properly you shouldn't need to do that. You shouldn't do that. You're only over complicating things. Keep SKSE installed as a 100% manual install and make sure the SKSE executable is added to MO and that you're using that exe to launch the game.

And if you're using profile specific saves, did you check the default save path? (Documents\my games\skyrim...). Does the same happen if you make saves without MO2 profile specific saves setting enabled? Can you confirm in game your game is detecting SKSE as properly installed? (you can use the getskseversion command).

Okay, it might be MO2 related.
I ran skyrim with SKSE without MO2, made a save and it successfully created a co-save in mygames/Skyim Special Edition/Saves.

This is what the skse64.log says:

SKSE can't create the .skse save file but doesn't give any specific info why. I'll double check to give MO2, SKSE and Skyrim admin privileges. /:

I'll test that out right now.

SKSE shows in the System Menu (Escape) as SKSE64 2.0.19 rel6.
getskseversion returns "SKSE64 Version: 2.0.19 release idx 65, runtime 01050610"
