Hook is drag-and-drop. And any time you want to disable it you either just switch to OpenGL mode or rename the d3d8.dll file in your binaries folder to something like d3d8.dll.OFF . You really can't fuck up this game. Usually if something doesn't work it's because you put something in the wrong place, or you've got a bad script somewhere. Hook is a whole other animal, though. The paid version adds a lot of functionality other than just lights and shadows. And every one of them seems to come with a million support issues.. none of which I try to get involved in.
