Help with body paint and skin texture?

I just got a body paint and was wondering if any one could help give a brief tutorial on how to add the paint to the skin? I use gimp and pretty much have no idea what i'm doing

Depends what you mean.

If you want to add your own tatoo/body pain to skin then you can try using photoshop.

 

If you use CBBE body there is tool that alawys you to add tattoos etc to body parts.

There is this paint-net type tattoo on the nexus download it manually unzip it and use the picture tutorial that's provided in it. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24867
