poblivion Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 I'll clarify the situation first. The "witch hunt" started at FA, I don't know what better to call it ?. Content depicting vanilla races from Skyrim began to be deleted in large numbers. The justification was that these characters were subject to copyright. I wondered how it was with non-vanilla races ? If the author of non-vanilla races doesn't mind that they are used to create screenshots, then everything should be fine? And what if you use non-vanilla textures and meshes to create a screenshot, but the character is a khajiit race for example? Thanks for the possible explanation (I never thought that creating and publicly presenting screenshots could be illegal) ?

Standard SS's are subject to both Fair Use and transformative effect. FA is full of shit and per usual dramascreeching, which is pretty much Tuesday. Since Furries are often fetish-on-brain-makes-me-dumb-as-fuck and full of money, pretty simple fix. Post pictures, and if FA takes them down, sue the fuck out of them. Guarantee the first time a legal notice is served to a doorstep the "policy" will magically reverse itself as if by spontaneous generation quicker than you can say "yiff y/n"
