Its rather annoying that I have to type in TCL to do certain quests.. there must be some way that i can fix this as far as I know im not using any water walking mods... I vaguely remember reading about some people with that problem in that thread. Cyndi, I was using celestial race, I did remove it but still water walking.... Yeah...... It's part of a glitch from dawnguard. Even if you deactivated that you'll be stuck with it. I'm assuming it's something to do with the scripts involved. You can try, in the console Help enhancement look for the vampire lord one, should have a number like 201462a depending on where you load dawnguard. then player.removespell 201462a or w/e this number here /\ is for you. (it will be something ending in 1462a for sure though) You may have to try adding it first then removing it. If that doesn't work, there maybe a dup of that effect in shaydows mod, that could literally be named anything. In which case I can't help you there, I never used celestials, was too nerdrage butthurt he never asked or credited me for one of my tails. ~Edit, the only other possibility is you picked up the M/E from dragonborn, (shoes or potion) and it's that, that's stuck to your character instead of the VL one. If you are using a old save that use to have the race on it that would be the reason why you can water walk and not sink/swim.Kinda off topic but I have been trying to get the "cass" outfit to work from this mod. Ive tried that and still water walking... curious is there a mod to show you the players enhancments and stats? Not that I'm aware of. I don't think anyone has bothered, since everything is supposed to show up in the active effects tab for magic. From what I've dug up from around the internet is that the glitch was already "fixed" *coughcoughbull$#!tcough* in a patch from beth, with the general consensus being that if you get the glitch, it's permanent. Why it's still there after pulling the mod, is because the water walking script is still running on your character. You might end up having to go to a save before it happened, try one of those fancy save cleaners, or keep trying adding and removing different relative magic effects (which is it's own can of worms you may not want to open). Eventually someone with scripting know-how, might rewrite the water walking script, but who knows when that'll happen.
