mclericp Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Whenever i go to skyrim.nexus, a screen will pop up asking for authentication. The box says: "A Username and password is required blahblah Cpanel" But..i am already login! I can logout, login again, and still get this box that appears every 2 sec. This box prevents me from downloading and loading images. What is going on?

slamdunk Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I prefer to post mods in the forums. Like LL download section. Atleast there is a good chance loss of forums or downloads will not result in total annihilation. Like the mod installer though I prefer manual.

myuhinny Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I never use a server located in the USA I always pick a server from somewhere like London the USA servers seem to be crap and will not download or stop but ones like from London never had a problem. Once in awhile you will be told to pick a different server as the one you picked as it's suffering some sort of problem.

myuhinny Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I use the NMM when downloading from the nexus unless it's a manual one or if I don't really want to download it to my mod folder because I'm just downloading to see if there is a body under the armor so that I can whack parts off or not without seeing through the player.

What if nexusmod goes down?....forever....@.@ Because some of them fear that unauthorized uploads could contain stuff that the authors don't want, rips that aren't like the real deal, or the mod authorship changed to that of the uploader.

myuhinny Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Usually if you go to your profile then go to forum profile and use the search bar and search nexus down or skyrim nexus down or something like that it will pop up it will pop up threads that were started asking about it.

Torrents? If the source is correct then torrents are far more reliable. I kind of don't trust these monolithic sites and one system with all files.
