mirellamorochef Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Hi there, It is my first time asking for help but I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I just downloaded the new wicked whims file with the strip club feature, making sure to delete all the mods that could give trouble. I can buy a strip club with no problem, but when I try to travel to the location, the game just crash and the starting menu with all the cities appear with a error message ( i don't remember exactly but roughly : game can't be loaded, error 123 13something, we suggest to relaunch the game) So, now I did almost everything : 1-deleted all my mods except wicked 2-made sure to put ww file outside folders 3-relaunch the game like 30 times 4-start a new game 5-reinstall sims 4 6- i know is random but I even deleted origin(my sims 4 is cracked) 7- turn off all my antivirus things and any app that could give me trouble Please help? I would love to try the new strip club feature!
procian Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Ok....ww can be in it's own folder within mods as can most cc.....script files can only be 1 folder deep. Are you sure you don't have duplicate ww files? and your ww is version 158e? No need to reinstall sims 4 btw...that's very drastic.....Your game is 1-66-139-1020?

I mean they flat out said they're using a cracked version of The Sims, so safe to say it's not up to date.
mirellamorochef Posted September 17, 2020 Author Posted September 17, 2020 Is probably not up to date indeed (I do have regular origin sims 4 as well, but I use the cracked version cause it has a couple of expansions I was missing) But I am honest I am not very sure. BTW I made sure I didn't have any other copy of ww, or any similar issue. Is is probably because my sims 4 is old is it?
SinSims143 Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I've had crashing issues with my Strip Club. Working fine, doing what its suppose to, then suddenly I'm right back to my opening screen! no freezing, no nothing! It had been working just fine, but suddenly it started up and has happened twice. Lets me get to the club, actually run and work for a good amount of time, then crashes/just goes to the opening page of the game as if I had never played. Thank you for any help you give. Edit: Just had a total shut off in the game once again. Thankfully I'd saved ahead of time. I've checked all my files, did all the updates, I'm wondering if when the Sept. 8th update EA did, if that didn't do something to cause this? As it stands, I'm not spending the time if its going to continue the shut down after 30 minutes of playing and having all go great and story line doing fantastic and then suddenly shut off. It's too frustrating to stop and save, when I shouldn't have to. GRR again thanks for any help you give...

I have strip clubs working just fine without any problems. It has to be something on your end.

EA did say, some CC and outside "items" may not work until they get the bugs out from Sept 8 patch? Thanks for your help though. I've never had any problems with WW, and I've been around for awhile! Still going over the files, but with little luck. We'll see what happens.

SinSims143 Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 yes, its all up to date both WW and Sims 4 with latest update. Problem is/or probably..you have to build it or at least I have to, on a empty lot. Can't use an established lot that you change to generic. ie. already a house on the lot. Spoke to EA and they pretty much stated it that way...sorta of?? so far I've gotten the new place almost finished. We'll see if it lets me play it. Thanks all for the helpful ideas/
