Bellaretta Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 Hello. Sorry, I don't speak English well. After the last update, all doors from any modders look like this. They work correctly, characters move around the house without obstacles. But outwardly they look like inside a wall. Does anyone know how to resolve the issue ??

So you will need to update them too after they get fixed. https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/980785/broken-updated-mods-cc-sw-jb-sept-2020
Oops19 Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Thanks EA, looking through the mod and CC list shows that a lot is broken now, some of it already fixed. If I buy another pack and want to use it I'll have to go online and update - This will suck. Should I add a sim named EA or better a house full of EA developers to my sim world, torture them and upload the video to YT?

I haven't updated my game since June and won't unless maybe I see something worthwhile which is doubtful as hell these days. Wonder whatever happened to the new EP's for a farm pack, owning/running a hotel, or owning a second vacation home among others.
Bellaretta Posted September 6, 2020 Author Posted September 6, 2020 I have 75+ GB of modifications and almost all of them are combined for optimization. The price for additional content is high, so there are similar problems in addition. Pumping over again is nonsense. Better to say goodbye to the game than to suffer so much.

This is why I only merge hairstyles, makeup, and clothing. Plus I also have backups of them each in their own folder un-merged. Easy enough to deal with but still a PITA if those get borked by game updates. Since I don't have much build cc it's less of a pain if/when I decide to update again. Another option is to turn off Origin Automatic Game Updates as prevention is so much easier. You can then read about all the chaos in future game updates and just carry on as normal and decide later if it's worth the effort to chase down all the mod updates.
NoxOculis Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 A modder has already found the solution with Sims 4 Studio here : https://thejim07.tumblr.com/ If you find this too complex, just wait a bit for Sims 4 Studio to work.
