Here's an updated copy of Simple Slits that works with Royal Court. WaffleIron should get credit as the original mod author but since they haven't logged on in a while, I made the edits myself.

The update no longer breaks the game models, which means it's working on that front. So, thanks for that.

 

However, it doesn't get rid of the leaf for me. Any idea why? I even tried running simple slits mod and nothing else, and it's still the same.

This mod broke in 1.5 unfortunately. Also, about the pubic hair aspect, I agree it would look better with it. And it would be more lore friendly (pubic shaving was not really common back in these times).

Just use the royal court version made by disposabletemp as it works.. It's on page 3, linked comment below.

It works using the fix mentioned above. For female public hair I can confirm the following works for 1.5 as well:
