MO2 Help needed

Hey there folks,

 

Not sure where to put this because its a Mod Organizer 2 thing...

 

Simply put, my MO2 hangs when I try to get to files on my hard drive. I've rebooted and set my MO2 to

Admin and still doesn't work. I haven't reinstalled because its thats a bit of a pain getting my mods all back.

 

Any suggestions?

Step 1:

Undo that. And never do that again(!) until the documentation explicitly advises you to do that.

 

Step 2:

Which version? The new one from earlier this month? Make sure your AV isn't silently messing with MO2's installation files. There's especially one module that triggers false positives with some AV products.

 

I assume you got your MO2 binaries from a legitimate source? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194

If you set up your MO2 in a way to make use of it's features, your mods and your configuration will be completely independent and separated from MO2 binaries.

When you say "Getting to files on my hard drive" do you mean when you are installing mods or when you choose "open Mod in explorer" on the File Tree tab? Also, what directory are your game and MO2 installed in?
