Tlam99 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 I stopped the upgrades of SKSE through steam and still use SKSE 2.0.17. Has anyone here upgraded to the last steam version and uses the last SKSE 2.019 ? Just want to learn, if I will face problems on upgrading or just stay with the older version. OK, got it. Tx
agiz19 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 I also didnt update , no need, especially when there can be problems... it doesnt seem thee is any kind off gain for us users
Just Don't Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 I tested 2.0.19 in game. Everything seems to work fine (except UIExtensions can't be controlled with mouse with SKSE .18 or .19). And in game the .19 is still detected as 2.0.18. So I think it's very likely we'll get more updates in the following days. If you're on 2.0.17 stay with that, make sure you don't update mods that require a specific SKSE version (as they might be made for the newer versions only) and wait. Perhaps in a week or so we'll have a new release with all the fixes and features intended and there won't be more updates so quickly.
Tlam99 Posted August 20, 2020 Author Posted August 20, 2020 installed it incl. racemenu v0414. runs without any issues for a week now. there is also a new version for the engine fixes available, which was the reason for me to install 2.0.19. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230?tab=posts this makes use the new shared trampolin memory feature to reduce conflicts. if you have installed the animation crashfix, you need to deactivate it, as the new engine fix patches the same memory segment. In may case I used srtcrashfix SSE, or disable animationloadsigncrash. I know you know this, but just want it complete somehow here ....

Have you tested body morphs with the latest racemenu/SKSE versions? that was the first issue I read about and mainly what's keeping me in 2.0.17.

I use ABBA and it works. Vampirlord transform also ok.
Tlam99 Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Spoiler extrem bodymorph The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Special Edition 2020.08.21 - 03.08.05.01_Trim.mp4
Just Don't Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 That's too much extreme. But yeah, I'm talking about the morphs like ABBA. I'll need to make some time to test in my game and update if things are looking good atm.
AntiSleuth1337 Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Hi folks, I went straight to 2.0.19 but have found that the dll cant be found through vortex with SoS. Should I move all my mods to another folder, remove the SKSE and then find an old 2.0.17 to replace it to fix the issue? SoS old, dll not found. Found -1, expected 300004 I assume once this is done, I can go through the mods again either by pasting them in appropriate places or simply re downloading through vortex, starting with the basic stuff first? Apologies if I've missed anything, I've never modded a damn thing in my life and I've probably made a mistake in which download order I should use through Vortex. I've not found a way to check Order until a conflict springs up and then I put new mods to load after their requirements and hope for the best! lol

Found -1, expected 300004 Get SOS for SE (just google "loverslab sos se", should be the first result). SOS for SE is version 1.1.4 (verify you're getting the SE and not the VR version). That 300004 in there makes me think you're trying to use SOS from Skyrim LE. And that's not good for SE. 3 hours ago, AntiSleuth1337 said: Should I move all my mods to another folder, remove the SKSE and then find an old 2.0.17 to replace it to fix the issue? Honestly that makes no sense. If the problem is the dll from one mod you don't need to take away all your other mod files to fix it. Just remove the current version you have. Then get the one made for SE and install it and see if the issue is gone.
