They really do like including nude models in their games....... slightly odd decision for a Sony developer, but I'm not complaining, it should make modding easier once we get a PC port?

Seems like a good way to make sure they remove it from the game with an update. Especially being a game with a "Teen" ESRB rating.
Kinda of what happend with Heavy Rain and Two Souls. And maybe they make the future PC port extra difficult to mod on purpouse.

Also, about the latest discovery of the nude mesh under the armor - Im not surprised. Traces of this can be found in the works of one of the Principal artists at Guerilla - Arno Schmitz. He has nude base mesh bodies on his Artstation that I'm pretty sure are in this or the previous game. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/v2zO5A

Good luck getting it back in, once they know there will be people trying to do that. They will have now until the release of the PC version to make it as painfully difficult as possible to mod the Forbidden West. You want to have nice things for the games you play? Learn to be subtle and not a raging idiot exposing everything.

Let's keep things civil, guys.  The nude mesh cat is out of the bag now, so Sony will do whatever Sony feels like doing in this situation.  

 

The one ray of hope is that the nude base mesh is still in HZD, so let's not assume the HFW one will get patched out.  I do agree that shouting from the roof tops about it is the wrong approach though. Slowly slowly, catchy monkey?

The lady she's supposed to be modelled on is gorgeous and doesn't have a jaw like a Rubik's Cube.

Haha.  I'm getting used to her from some angles and some of the makeup style face paints help, but front on she still looks all wrong.

I know what you mean, she is quite cute and I agree with you on the beauty mods, mainly because it makes her look unfamiliar. I'm not arguing for her to be unrealistically gorgeous, like the lunatics on twitter, just a little more like her face model would be good, as she was in HZD, so she feels like the same person, not a sound alike older sister?. 

 

That's always been my main gripe with this model, from a lot of angles she looks like a different girl.  Anyway, as I said earlier, I'm getting accustomed to her new face.  By the time I finish HFW, I might have forgotten what she looked like in HZD?.

I'm there with you. Aloy in HZD's cheeks are different and her jawline is a lot more square.

She can look very good in HFW.....the facial animation is on a completely different level and the attention to detail is stunning, like the beads of sweat in the bottom pic.  She just looks "different".

Having a jaw like the person she's supposed modeled after, you know a "real" person, is not unrealistic or a stereotype - it would in fact be based on reality, so much the opposite.

It seems that there was a new update, can someone confirm if sony removed the bug from the nipples or is it still there? I hope they never remove that Aloy modeling... but that depends on Sony

Kinda. The mesh is exactly the same, with nipples and all, but the texture had nipples removed.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.  Modding is a long way off, assuming it comes to PC.  Also, the world might end soon and we'll all be living in the Horizon world?.
