ThePervert101 Posted August 6, 2020 Posted August 6, 2020 Intro: I have Skyrim SE. I just recently began installing mods and I managed to install quite a few mods before quickly reaching my limit in the normal FNIS. They are all work properly when I was use them. I looked around and discovered that FNIS XXL allows you to have more mods. I uninstalled all my mods then redid the FNIS installation but with XXL. Issue: Once I installed XXL I did an update and it found 30+ errors. This was clearly bad. Anyway, I ran the game using SKSE. I chose an a modded save and saw everyone including my own character was t posing. I tried an unmodded one. The same situation. The wolves that attack me are fine though. After 2+ hours of trying to fix it by testing if it was a mod that I had that was the issue. I discovered that it was the XLL. I uninstalled almost all the mods except for SKSE and XXL and they all were still T posing. Here is what I got when I updated in that state. >>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. If you use SKSE, this can be fixed by starting Skyrim once through Steam.<< FNIS Behavior V7.6 XXL 8/6/2020 6:03:28 PM Generator: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe Skyrim 32bit: ??.??.?? - Skeleton(hkx) female: Default (99 bones) male: Default (99 bones) Patch: "GENDER Specific Animations" Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Reading FNISBase V7.6 ... I entered an unmodded save then exited the game. I tried to redo the update but I got the same warnings. I also tried again to check if anything change but no.

If you are using Skyrim Legendary Edition then you need to change FNIS to the LE version. You should check the rest of your mods to make sure they are the version for whichever Skyrim you use. You didn't need to upgrade to XXL as there is a little utility/tool which removes the animation cap. How did you know you had reached your limit anyway?

I tried searching for something like it but failed. Anyway, I am using the special edition. The mods I have installed are all for special edition. I checked multiple times to be sure. I knew I reached my limit when the famous "error too many animations" appeared.
Just Don't Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 Weird that the 1st warning doesn't go away. But also, the FNIS you installed is not for SE. That line Grey Cloud pointed is clearly telling you this. FNIS for SE reads Skyrim 64bits 29 minutes ago, ThePervert101 said: Mind giving me a link to the utility/tool? I tried searching for something like it but failed. It's in the description page for FNIS. Check these mods, read how to use them and add whichever you seem fit.
