coopycarbonara Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 For some reason, Sexlabs has caused all weapons + the player to be completely silent. (Player audio still plays sexlabs voice lines though) I'm using Vortex. Mods installed are: Skyrim Engine Fix Popup says it causes issues with a handful of other mods. Tried both having them use Engine Fix's files, their own files, and just outright having the Engine Fix disabled. Doesn't seem to work. 2nd part is manually installed as per required by the mod Ordinator: 20% more perk points 360 Movement Behavior Conflicts with Skyrim Engine Fix, tried having the files be replaced by SEF, replacing SEF's files with 360 Movement, and having SEF disabled. No change in audio. Quality World Map: Paper AddressLibrary for SKSE Plugins: All In One SKSE64 AI Overhaul 1.5.3 I believe this one also conflicted with SEF, tried same as above. Anub Human I don't think I actually use it, I don't remember if it had any gay-compatible animations. Audio Overhaul for Skyirm SE: Climates of Tamriel patch Audio Overhaul Bandolier: Tighter to Male Bare Body Bandolier Bags Barbarian Steel Armor Beast Hair Horn and Beard Doesn't seem to work at all, doesn't show up in showracemenu at all even with SkyUI/enhanced SRM, I'll disable this since it doesn't work anyways and see if this magically fixes it Belt-Fastened Quivers Doesn't seem to work at all, neither on its own or with the skeleton extender Black Robe Replacer Chameleon & Lizard SOS 2k pack Argonian texture mod Climates of Tamriel College of Winterhold Entry Requirements College of Winterhold Entry Requirements - Ordinator Patch Combat Gameplay Overhaul IIRC CGO triggered SEF as well, tried same as other instances. Detailed Male Faces Don't Push Me While I'm Talking Plugin Haven't really noticed it, so I'll disable it and see if that magically fixes it. Dynamic Animation Replacer I forget exactly what this does and what it's needed for EVG Animation Variance Fuzzbones(?) SLAL pack I don't think I even use it... Same as Anubis Human. FNIS PCEA2 Gives me an error sometimes saying it failed to do something, but not always. FNIS FNIS XXL patch FNIS Creature FNIS Spells Furb's Dark Brotherhood Replacer GayRimJob Grey Cat & Leopard SOS 2k pack Khajiit texture mod Immersive Armors Immersive Citizens I believe this one triggers SEF, too. Same actions as other times. Immersive Sounds Compendium Improved Combat Sounds iNeed JContainers I think this was required by sexlabs or something Light Daedric Armor Light Elven Armor I believe this one is just a patch for RM Light Elven Armor Light Glass Armor M2M Animations Ordinator RaceMenu Realistic Water Two RM Light Elven Armor SexLab Light SexLab Framework (v163Beta8) Either this or another part of SexLabs conflicted with SEF. Tried same as others. If SexLabs is overwritten, animations fully break. SkyUI SL Animation Loader Schlongs of Skyrim SE Furb's Thieves Guild & Nightingale Replacers Furb's Forsworn Replacer Static Mesh Improvement Mod Unofficial High Definition Audio Project - Music Unofficial High Definition Audio Project - Voices Pt1 Unofficial High Definition Audio Project - Voices Pt2 Unofficial Material Fix Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch Wet and Cold XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended ZaZ Animations Unofficial High Definition Audio Project stuff, Unofficial Material Fix, Immersive Sound, Improved Combat Sounds, Audio Overhaul parts, and the Skyrim Engine Fix parts were installed to try and get the audio fixed, but it didn't work. Loading SEF files over other files made SexLabs break. EDIT 1: Reinstalling SEF doesn't seem to trigger the conflict popup anymore for some reason. EDIT 2: For some unknown reason, all character models are flatout broken. Hard T-posing, if the models load at all. Attempting a fresh reinstall. EDIT 3: Trying some fixes again. Managed to clean reinstall to a functional state, but everything bunked out again. Going to play with what's being loaded and go from there. Also a similar popup appeared again: https://imgur.com/a/v8ECQsP EDIT 4: I've managed to find a few that are definitely broken. Wet & Cold seems to be the biggest offender. It also seems that CGO and 360 Movement also completely broke at some point, so I'll try reinstalling those and seeing if that fixes them.
Scholarly Badger Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 I'm not nearly smart or patient enough to go through that whole list, but two things: Sexlab was probably breaking things because you had both Sexlab Light and Sexlab Framework installed, and ALWAYS run FNIS after you've installed/modified anything that contains animations or everyone will T-pose, if you're lucky.

I'll try disabling SLL, then. FNIS PCEA2 seems to also be utterly broken, but other instances of FNIS are generally fine and run relatively well all things considered. EDIT: Disabling SexLabs Light causes Papyrus Error 4 with SkyUI and says it'll break the game. Disabling SexLabs Framewok v163Beta8 causes the game to break by utterly destroying all the models in the game. SLL and SLF together makes it run normally.
Fotogen Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 Sexlab Framework does not effect weapon sounds. It just doesn't. No way. You can not have Sexlab Light and Sexlab Framework installed at the same time. This is bad. Totaly bad. Delete Sexlab Light. Totaly remove any trace of SL Light from your system. Exterminate. T-Pose means you did not run FNIS. As has been said million times before, you must run and re-run FNIS anytime you add or remove animation. Or just look in animations general direction. Papyrus Error 4: skyrims .ini files are broken. And possibly SKSE install. Loading SEF files over other files made SexLabs break: Huh. No. This does not compute. I think your Skyrim install is broken. Its not Sexlab, its everything else. Broken beyond repair. Delete everything. Let Steam install vannila Skyrim. Try if it work. Then redownload a mod and see if it work. One mod, not all of them at the same time. Then andotyher one. Test. Etc ...

But I'll try again with a full fresh full reinstall of everything.
anjenthedog Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Again to reemphasize what was said. Install mods one at a time, making sure the game is working properly after each installation. And that means checking beyond "opening the game, loading a save, and closing again". You need to do stuff for a little while. in case the "gotchas" aren't immediate or aren't triggered by some action. Perhaps not an exhaustive check, (I mean , we only have so much time on our hands) but not just "open game open save ok save opened, closing so I can install the next". It sounds tedious... And it is, but one has to ask which is more tedious, trying to track down some phantom source that's completely killing the game from a list of 5 or 10 or 50 mods, or doing things a bit more ploddingly but as a result having a relatively stable game play, and a relatively easy debug when installing mods... "Oh I installed THAT single mod and the game no longer works, Gosh what should I do... let's see, I installed that one mod, and the whole game died (or all my NPCs are suddenly purple, or my character is t-posed, or these animations no longer work, or I have this gross visual artifact) ... hmmmmm... I wonder... ".
coopycarbonara Posted July 29, 2020 Author Posted July 29, 2020 Turns out the audio issue was due to a failure on the game's part, as I had it installed on my E drive rather than my C drive. I've (mostly) fixed that issue, but I still plan to make sure I get my mods fixed and working properly.
Fotogen Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 In theory Skyrim should work from any drive if Steam installs it there. In theory ... Your game looks like total mess and very likely because parts are installed on C and parts on E. Why, I don't know. But I had problem like that in the past. Because my C drive isnt "that" big, I installed Skyrim on D. It worked ... until it didn't P.S.: I had this problems with all Bethesda games, Oblivion, Fallout. But no problem with any other game.

As far as I can tell, all the files correctly installed onto my E drive. I tried the audio fix (by creating a symbolic link from my C drive to my E drive) by moving the sounds bsa to My Documents, however the issue doesn't seem to be resolved. SexLabs Framework's current beta also doesn't seem to work at all for me. If the audio still doesn't get fixed, I'll just cut my losses and try installing it onto my C drive and hope that fixes it.
