Zaria's Slave Boots - CBBE SE - Slim fit

View File

CBBE SE BodySlide files to build a "Slim" version of Zaria's Slave Boots.

This download contains only the BodySlide files, you need Devious Devices - Expansion for the textures.
Don't forget to build the "@Rogg DDX - CBBE - SlaveBoots" slider set.

Any chance of getting these for UUNP as well?

Probably not by me, i do not use UUNP and i am too lazy to download and install it just to do this.

But maybe you can do it yourself? it should be easy, the difficult part was to remodel the boot meshes (at least for me it was - took me a whole day in 3ds max, because i suck at it).
All you need to do is click your left mouse button few times:
- Load the BodySlide project in OS

- Delete the CBBE feet

- Load the UUNP feet as reference (let it discard any existing sliders)

- Apply the UUNP high heels slider to the feet (i presume UUNP has something like that? or maybe you load feet already shaped for HH?)

- Conform the boots meshes to any UUNP sliders loaded with that feet reference (if there are any).
- Apply weights to the left and right feet (they should be weighted solely on Left and Right Calves respectively - "NPC L Calf [LClf]" and "NPC R Calf [RClf]").
- Save the project as your new UUNP Slave Boots. Done.

Do BodySlide files for Special Edition also work for Legacy Edition? I would love these meshes, but haven't updated to SE yet.

The NIF files for SSE are a bit different, it wouldn't work in LE.
Now regarding the actual body's mesh topology - i don't know, i THINK the CBBE SE body is different from CBBE LE - somebody correct me if i am wrong - if it is different, then it may be difficult to properly fit the SSE feet (which are included in the project) to the LE body, and similarly it may be difficult to fit the CBBE LE feet into the boots from my project - but it should be doable.
I think even the body/feet textures are different between Oldrim and SSE versions of CBBE, but again - i could be horribly mistaken, somebody pls confirm or correct me.

A conversion should be relatively simple.
You would have to open the SSE BodySlide project in Outfit Studio and export the boots as OBJ file, then import that OBJ file into LE project, save it, and then use NifSkope to set proper textures, materials, specular values, etc., according to how they are in the original SSE NIF file (you may be able to do this in OS too, so you may not need NifSkope, i just prefer to doit in NifSkope because there are sometimes more things to change which are not available in OS - but maybe try in OS first and see what happens).

Now the feet... that may be tricky - if i am right and the CBBE SE feet included in my project have a different mesh, then they wouldn't connect properly to the old CBBE body, and even if you manage to fit the feet mesh to the body ankles, there would be probably a significant texture seam or worse.
So, you may need to just import the old CBBE feet and try to fit them into the boots - which may not be so easy, but bascially all you need is a lot of patience and then you cn do it.

I could try, but my computer is a mess right now, so i need to reinstall verything fisrt, install Oldrim, all the tools, etc.
So, no promises, and no ETA, but feel free to post here to remind me in a week or so.

that is 100% why cause with DDNG i think it has slightly newer slave boots stuff so its unlikely to work i can load up my game and test it to see cause im using newest of everything
