gongeman147147 Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 I've had enough of EA & Maxis's political statement about Covid-19. I get it, it's a real bad, real world thing. I just don't want that crap in my game anymore. After all, I did pay for it & what gives them the right to negatively effect something I've paid for? Is there a mod out there for Sims 4 that will override the itching, scratching, red spot disease all of my sims have? If there is, please tell me what it's called & where to locate it. Thank you:)

RizBloody Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Is this something new? I have yet to have a sim get sick, only pets.
gongeman147147 Posted July 24, 2020 Author Posted July 24, 2020 I have & am using "no more random illnesses" but all the sims in my game are down with the sickness I previously described. I've been dealing with this for a long time now & I thought everybody else was too. Guess I was wrong. I might have been wrong to blame EA & Maxis if I'm the only one having this issue. Does anybody else have this problem?

Thank you:) You know when you click that box that says "I AGREE" that you never pay attention too? lol. You gave them the right to do that. At anytime they can give or take away whatevr they want. You paid for the rights to use their product. and is that wtf these crazy rashes are?!!!! I was wondering wtf was going on lol

Does anybody else have this problem? I was also using UICheats mod to clear the sickness moodlets on active sims for awhile; just right click on it to remove. Before adding the 'no random illness' mod I used SCAM mod to help stop sims from doing stupid autonomy, like getting a glass of water every 5 min, etc. Click on ground, select: enable control autonomy, then repeat but select: currently running**. Long list of things/actions sims are doing, trying to do, or just did. You just select the ones you want to stop [*], and don't forget to hit save menu after your finished. I found many that were related to sickness and I disabled them but it took some time to get all of them disabled. Sims would still get sick on occasion until I added 'no random illness'. Still have and use SCAM with all of them still disabled. Other than deleting your localthumbcache or having another mod interfering it sounds like you may have a strange bug, no pun intended. But you can try the method above to kill off the sickness symptoms from even triggering. Something that EA GTW should have had, or added, is a switch do disable the illness system. They probably get a kick out of adding this kind of annoying shit and just call it a 'feature'.

2cool4u_1 Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 For some reason I rarely get sick sims, and I've had GTW since 2015. In the few saves where I did get sick sims, they do get sick often. In that case I either buy a bunch of medicine and cheat the money back. or I just shift+click the sim and remove the illness.
