Script extender log reports incompatible plugins

You have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load!

 

If you want this notification to go away, here are some steps you can take:

• Look for updates to the mod or the specific plugin included in the mod.

• Disable the mod containing the plugin.

• Hide or delete the plugin from the mod.

 

To refresh the script extender logs, you will need to run the game and/or editor again!

 

The failed plugins are:

• Couldn't load PapyrusUtil.dll (PapyrusUtil SE - Scripting Utility Functions). A DLL is invalid (code 193).

 

Does anyone know how to fix this? Because I have no clue.

Do what it says. PapyrusUtil requires an specific SKSE version to work. So check your SKSE version and check the PapyrusUtil version, in the download page it mentions the SKSE version you need to have. These versions must match.

To add to what dontknow ssaid, if you're running a specific version of SKSE64, get the version of papyrus that it requires (not the other way around!)

 

the game version requires a version of SKSE64, so the heirarchy is

 

game ver >> skse64 ver >> papyrus ver.

 

ex: 1.5.97 >> 2.0.17 >> version 3.9 for SKSE64 2.0.17 & SSE 1.5.97

i am currently having this problem with fallout newvegas, and the worst part is that the mods that it keeps telling are incompatible are final releases/Stable of the mods.

and NVSE thinks it's outdated/incompatible when it was working a fine yesterday.
