Recommended Posts

tried restoring my game, but mod organizer saves all load order info and backups plugins and it breaks the game
Tried uninstalling and running Ccleaner and it still saved all preferences and back up mods and load order

Mod Organizer saves the profile information in the folder profiles under which ever folder you installed Mod Organizer.

For example , (in my FO4 case)

Tried uninstalling what? MO

What is end game for you? I dont understand what your asking

Yeah MO

whenever I’d make new character the screen would just be black (just started happening randomly)

then I reinstalled the whole game and redownloaded all mods using nexusmodmanager

made a new character

But now my game gets stuck randomly it seems, but I feel like it’s more of an overload of memory because it’s only when I’m doing something (like move camera too fast while jumping)

Get rid of any files outside of steam that is skyrim related before you reinstall, after reinstall verify integrity of game files through Steam. If your going to try MO again I would recommend you install xedit first and clean master files then, this way the backups that xedit generates will not be MO's problem.

You have to have xedit and some sort of memory allocation fix(crash fixes, skse ini) and you need skse and enb binary for the enboost(don't need boost if on SE) This stuff is mandatory.

I did this, and I could see a difference but my game was still pretty unstable.

I solved most of the crashing by changing my ENB reserved memory from 2000 to 2500 and uninstalling ZAZ animation unfortunately. After doing that I had one game freeze and one crash, in addition to a couple of CTDs from loading the my character’s save which I worked around by starting a new game and then loading my character’s save immediately after starting new game.

Update: Freezing came back but I think I fixed it again
 (Also meant VideoMemorySize* not reserved)
Now im using this
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51038?tab=files&file_id=1000271542&nmm=1
SKSE memory allocation
and followed this guide for ENB
https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBlocal_INI/Memory

Most likely last update: IT WORKED!
What a blessing. I thought I was gonna have to give Skyrim up.
I played for hours, no crash. A couple of times I could tell it wanted to but something was saving it (which im assuming was this)
Gonna possibly try to reinstall ZAZ it's a shame that I don't really use it, but Private Needs mod depends on it for "water" effect at the least.
So I'm gonna try to slowly get my realism back in-game without it crashing hopefully.
