Veta Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 So pretty simple , when do you think fallout 4 will be announced , Personally I think and hope it will be at Pax east 2013 since it is in boston and what better place than to announce it than the city which the game will feature ?

Veta Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 Well TESO isn't being developed by bethesda , also if you look at it, the timing is perfect , fallout 3 had two years difference from Oblivion , One year and some months have passed since skyrim, They announce fallout 4 now and release on the 4-4-14 : . I mean look at ASC 3 not even a half year has passed they announce ASC 4 and they release on October 14 of 2013 lol Ubisoft .

GECK.O Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 To be honest....I don't feel so exciting for Fallout 4. In term of graphic and game engine, Bethesda's Fallout 3 and NV are very disappointing. There are a lot of good looking and realistic post-apocalypse game out there, that offer better graphic and immersion. Seeing the ruin of skyscrapers and crawling inside it, totally an awesome experience that Bethesda's Fallout can't offer. From Stalker, Metro to Rage. A town in Fallout NV is just several houses, if you know what I mean. Unlike the original Bethesda, Bethesda today is so shy. In the marketing, they try to look "naughty", but in the game, you barely found it. The Witcher is more exciting on the naughty stuff. I feel Bethesda games are M rated child friendly games.

( I am mentioning 3 and not NV because it had different developers ) Also the immersion was great too , struggling to find ammo in a super market or a school filled with crazed bandits and ghouls . For a 2008 game it's graphics weren't something you could complain over , as for NV it was being made on the same engine and I still didn't find anything too unsatisfying . What plagued the game ( for me at least ) was the main story in the beginning till you found james it was okay ; after that , surprise surprise , you have to save the world ! it has to have gotten boring for someone else too .
polluxval Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 This game should be amazing by enhancing graphics, making sure it is a real "fallout" world, a lot to explore and scavenge and a decent story. We dont need a Hollywood drama tears script. Even an anti-hero story could be good enough. What I really want to see it's the real feeling of a waste world. They can take some of the features found in RAGE but with more open world, because we want vehicles, but, of course, making them hard to get. I'm sure they can make a pretty good game in the near future, Bethesda has talent. Unless they want to fuck it up like Alien Colonial Marines.

Sorry, just needed to say that i understand what you mean and i totally agree with that, but what i was trying to say is that, minecraft for example, its good because its unique. but when you are doing a sequel, prequel etc. i mean, one more of the series, the new one needs to have better graphics. morrowind < oblivion < skyrim , for example (considering graphics only of course)

Its a console game exclusive for ps3. -.- But i agree that content matters, but, lets not argue. i was only trying to say that we wouldnt want a fallout 4 game with fallout 3 graphics, we want atleast the same engine as skyrim.

HanPL Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Well Bethesda made quite a lot of money on Fallout series + DLC so it's only a matter of time before we will see new Fallout. Only question is how soon, my guess would be they might tell something after New Gen Consoles are released.
