Incest doesn't work properly

Both of my sims have the incest aspiration trait. Wicked Whims is allowing them to have sex, but it won't let them do anything else romantic with each other. Any idea how to fix this?

Ive kinda noticed it too since the last update. Prior my "teen son and mom" would be going at it like rabbits to the point I wish I didnt have the trait. Id never used the global cheat for it though. This play Im using the cheat for it, and they just didnt seem to do anything. I manually triggered some flirting and they do that autonomously.

I got the trait and they still dont seem to work.

I can click an empty bed and have them go at it, not with auto-accepting.

If one is masturbating or with someone else and I try to get the other to join it says their relationship is, and if the mother is selected and I try to make her join tells me she wont cheat on her partner.

I dont have jealousy disabled but I had Polyamorous on both sims, and Cuck on the Father/Husband aswell as Poly. Incest on both mom and son. Husband has been made Asexual after they had 3 kids automatically. Mom and son are nearly maxed out on the romance meter.

That said I am experiencing a bug where sims are constantly stopping what they are doing, to do nothing, and its been reported by people to EA with and without mods. I wonder if EA messed up the autonomous interactivity. Nearly every sim day Im resetting one member of the household because they will be starving, sitting with a meal in front of them and staring at it for hours.

Attraction level they both find each other "Extremely attractive" but I only get popups for the son commenting on the hot sim.

Had a similar issue quite a while ago, apparently caused by MC Command Center. WW allowed teen-adult sex and incest (global cheat, but that doesn't matter), but MCCC didn't and while MCCC's settings should've been overridden by WW, they somehow weren't. Accessing MCCC via an in-game computer and changing the settings of its WooHoo module to reflect those of WW fixed it for me.

Note, that you have to permit both incest and teen-adult sex (i.e. remove age limitations) for a "mom and son" scenario.

ooo.. ok that makes sense.. I am running MCCC did not need to do that before. Ill give it a go.

Ok I wasnt using Woohoo so that option wasnt there, got it and enabled family, teen and Polygamy in it.. still no go.

This started with the v155j update. Before it was working fine on old game. Cant say if it is this or the fact I added a pile of the expansions, Uni, Island, Famous and Seasons. Which is why I started a new game, but since then seen MCCC doesnt automate repairs and WW doesnt seem to allow cheating on spouses despite having the poly trait.

I have tried disabling the global incest cheat in WW which gives me a message telling me to restart, after restarting re-enabling does not prompt anything.

Have not disabled the open relationships switch, Ive even tried the jealousy cheat and still get the wont cheat on spouse message when trying to join them when one is already masturbating.

Im going to try a new game, wanna change from genius to athletic on my kid sim anyway.

PS its not a teen>adult problem either as when he became a YA still persisted.

 

Before new Ill delete WW and redownload it and clear the settings which might be an issue I dunno since I imported settings previously used and it didnt seem to work right had to go through and set it all up.

Check your Autonomy Awareness settings...

Relationship Awareness OFF

NPC Pregnancy Awareness OFF

Ok that may have been it, turned off the Relationship awareness and they could join.

Thought that having Open Relations, The Polyamorous trait and Cuck trait would make it fine.. strange its only when joining that it was an issue. They could initiate together even when partner was in the same room, but not join when one of them were masturbating even with partner at work.

The thing is all the sims involved have the Polyamorous reward trait so should be ignoring that setting. Hence why I never tried turning it off figured it might make it so not everyone was cheating on everyone.

The only other way I think it will work without that 'cheating' switch is if that partner sim has the 'Evil' trait I think.

Well it worked a long time ago anyway but don't know if it's been changed later on.

 

But it does make more sense for that poly reward trait to override the global settings so it only applies to sims with that trait and not the whole game.
