First, make sure you put the files into the right place. They should be in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/AEP". Well, you can name the AEP folder whatever you like, of course - the important thing is that they're not buried tto deep within some subfolders.

Second, make sure you enabled both "custom content and mods" and "script mods" in the game's settings (found under "other").

Third, start the game and go to the "Web..." menu item on any computer. AdultWorld.com will be one of the items in this submenu (for me, it's on the last "page" of selectable interactions). It's a little hidden, but once you know where it is, it's easy to find.

EDIT: After encounterng this issue myself, it appears that an old "bug" is back. From what I've seen (and read on the AEP support thread), AdultWorld.com is once again only available on base game and cc computers. Fancy ones like the laptops from the Strangerville DLC or the Detective career reward computer do not give you the AdultWorld.com option at the moment.
