Texture issues with bodyslide.

My SSE is in a horrid place but the biggest issue is that I cannot get my BHUNP textures to work anymore after using a different race.

Even with Total Unique Player. Which doesn't work anymore for some reason.

In this spoiler is how BHUNP looks, it has BUILT in textures that still don't work. I even selected the Ygnord custom race built in and it didn;t work. Im at a loss.

Is that snapshot from Bodyslide Studio? If so, I think that's part of your problem . AFAIK, bodyslide studio in SE uses CBBE qualified textures only. When I work on BHUNP bodies, I have to guestimate (matching a UNP source body for instance during a follower conversion) using the distorted textures shown in bodyslide and then apply only the meshes to the follower I'm working on (via manual transfer from a dummy output path folder), and I "allow them" to use their own custom textures, as delivered when the follower was installed.

And example of what I have to use (in Bodyslide Studio)  is below. Note the nipple texture vs topography and the weird stuff at the hips. It is not evident in the follower herself, as she uses the texture she was installed with (albeit slightly modified, but those adjustments to her body texture are done outside Bodyslide Stuido in Paint dot net, and well, that's not germane to this conversation anyway)

And she in game (Hikari fwiw)

PS> Yes I'm fully aware the nip piercings don't work right. I have no idea how to bind them properly to the nipples. She no longer has any as a result (nipple piercings that is)

PPS> I sure do wish that Bodyslide Studio offered both CBBE and other textures options that would auto-attach based on the preset/body type.

It's worked before though? I never had an issue until now where the BHUNP textures wouldnt line up/

The bigger issue is that your image is my character looks INGAME as well.
So im not sure whats happening???

I'm afraid I was unable to interpret your last post. (or at least not easily)

Are you stating that it did work before (not a question but a statement)?

If so, tbh,  I'm not sure how it could possibly have worked. Far as I know, Bodyslide doesn't render UNP or BHUNP textures. It uses the currently installed CBBE texture (afaik), so if you choose (for instance) BHUNP ygNord for the Body/Outfit entry, and then choose a BHUNP preset, it will look similar (in flaws) to my first example image. (while in bodyslide)

If you ignore this weirdness, then route the build output to a dummy folder(settings >> advanced  >> Output Path) and dump the results into the follower (mesh) folder following a build, it will look like whatever mesh you built in Bodyslide Studio, but with the original follower  texture assigned to that follower during installation of the follower mod.

And... I didn't understand MY image being how YOUR character looks in game. Are you a native English speaker? No disrespect intended, I just can't absorb that as written.

Hmmm.... chewing chewing...digesting... are you saying that your in-game result still has those flaws shown in my first example image (the one with the arrows)?  If so, I've encountered that when I accidentally use a wrong type preset. I have CBBE, CBBE advanced, 3BBB, 3BBB advanced, BHUNP, and UUNP presets in my Bodylide configuration, (as well as CBBE, CBBE advanced, 3BBB, 3BBB advanced, BHUNP, and UUNP body types) and on occasion I have accidentally paired dissimilar types (body vs preset) together and gotten that result in game.

My bodyslide does have CBBE, CBBE Adv, 3BBB, etc, etc.

Not sure how i can accidently pair them wrong??

But yes, in game my textures look like your example image.

I already explained how someone might accidentally pair a body type (ex: BHUNP) to a preset made for another body type (ex: CBBE).

I'm sorry but I'm afraid I can't think of any other way to explain it.

I'd suggest that you try using a CBBE body and match it to a CBBE preset. That should work fine and isn't too  complicated..

best of luck

in bodyslide i do not know if you can adjust a different path for the textures . But with nifskope it is possible to change textures path and it adjust correctly with ' edit uv ' where you can select the vertex points some or all the uv and than resave again by changing the path to skyrim folder .
