Scorpio Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 So I purchased Dine Out a few days ago on a 50% off sale and all the new content continues to show as new content after 3 days. Same thing with both CAS and BB items and I've selected every item to try and clear them but to no avail. Also deleted the cache file several times. Tried an Origin Repair yesterday but nada. Not sure if it's Mod related or not since this is the first time this bug has happened.

For me last patch fixed it, before June new one . Guess comes from save games files, some saves get corrupted during several overridings. And produce a lot of strange bugs. EA update games, but our save cache files also needs to be cleaned in order to work with new versions. That’s why I always save as new file when an update comes. And delete old save files which comes from and old version.

Also make back ups xd I always use blu ray disc, are super cheaper and you can save 25gb per disc, if something make POW I am always safe. Just replace burned or damaged PC part ,Zero problems with missed data. LG bd burners are 60 to 100$ usd on amazon.

Well I'm covered as I have 2 extra internal physical HDDs and 2 external drives for backups. Mostly just backing up my TS4 folder as the game files can always be downloaded again. I just forget to do this sometimes. Haven't made an entire C drive image backup in over a year though, my bad.

Na back up C drive is pointless, better save programs and apps systems can be reinstalled so easy now. And old systems always are slower than new installed ones, if your C die, better install a fresh system ,data is the only thing to back up.

It's not mod related... it's a simple EA bug sometimes I get rid of it, after re-installing TS4, sometimes it's just there Even now, I re-installed TS4 after the patch without any mod/cc and I still have this bug. Since I know this bug for ever, I don't really care or recognize it anymore ^^

But I don't have seasons, get famous, and a few other packs so I'm guessing the bug might come just with certain packs.

Windows can be booted from USB xd, download the program from Microsoft store, it works for win 10 and 7, means on an emergency state, you can reinstall any system from USB. Is better to copy that install disc to a bootable devices, dvd dies on 10 years. Before your windows 7 dissapear forever xd, BD disc almost 50 years to die.

This is why I have a bootable mirrored image on 2nd internal HDD. All I have to do is switch my active boot drive and I'm good to go. It just hasn't been updated in quite some time. Think I've also got another emergency boot disc around. This can be used for my USB External CD/DVD drive if my main one dies. Easy enough to find a quick replacement drive at Best Buy or online. Have another spare Desktop PC to use and also a decent laptop with S4 installed. Plus lots of spare parts in my pole barn as I used to work on PC's all the time. Years ago I snagged an original Dell Win7 Pro Sp1 Disc on ebay for cheap. I also bought deactivated codes on ebay and installed Win7 on quite a few other non-dell computers using that same disc. Is cool windows 10 only works well on UEFI bios old computers don’t need windows 10. I don’t get why al shops insist on sale cheap computers with win 10.

The problem with many of the newer computers, or at least the motherboard/chipset, is some changed from the UEFI bios to some other new thing. Win7 could no longer run on that newer chipset so it was done to force everybody to have to use Win10 from what I gather. (Even heard rumors about M$ having a helping hand in this new idea) They hate the fact that so many ppl are still happily using the old OS.

Yep old win 7 is ok , but vile companies like adobe only allow new programs for win 10, 3 max going to do the same with z brush. Guess blender gonna do the same soon. people will be forced to update in the next 5 years.

Same as yours but I also have the fruit bowls in both Kitchen and Dining areas. Note: this is on a new game save after installing ECO lifestyle EP. As I recall my old game save was worse but that was without this new EP installed.
