I'm lost (SL Defeat)

Hello.

I'm trying to install defeat and .. I admit I'm totally lost I installed:

Creature Framework

Fores New Idles in Skyrim SE

Fuz Ro D'oh

HentailCreatures

SexLad More Creatures SE

SexLabAroused SSE

SexLabFrameworkSE

SkyUI 5.2SE

SL advanced Cum Stage

UIExtentions 1.2.0

SL Defeat SSE

The necessary for Skyrim HD SE

I enabled them in the menu but, I can't figure out how to "initiate" the action. Also, I tried to arouse at 100 a friendly NPC but nothing happen. Un hostile NPC will attack me and then, I see nothing except my character is stuck inside the NPC (Not the way I want). I don't see any animation so I guess something is missing.

Can you help me ? (How to initiate action and why I don't have any animation.)

Thank you so much (I tried to find the information but, I'm very new and I have no idea what to look for)

i understand that getting started all this must be overwhelming but one must read instructions for every mod or tool no exceptions .

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3038

Note: You will have to run a generator tool GenerateFNISforUsers.exe (part of FNIS Behavior) every time you have installed or uninstalled FNIS, or an FNIS based mod. In addition, ...

all instructions for installation and links for tutorials in first page.

To test defeat at a very basic level...

  1. Open its MCM
  2. Navigate to the  Player as Victim section
  3. Set the Surrender hotkey
  4. Set the Sexual assault chance to 100%
  5. Exit the menu
  6. Make a new save (just a time saver in case you die while testing)
  7. Find a bad guy (a bandit of some kind, or an orc, or a lizard man, not a skeleton or an animal or a draugur etc. stick to the basics)
  8. get into battle (if you're not already ~by default)
  9. target the opponent (this is important because otherwise, sometimes they can't be tweaked if necessary (using SOS or an arousal modifier) because they can't be targeted once in an SL animation
  10. press the surrender key

Once you're "over it", you can start fiddling with the other defeat settings.

One extra thing.... an enemy who isn't sexually aroused will not (generally)  engage in any sexual aggression, (if that's what you intend), so if you have SLIF or SL aroused redux, you may want to uses it's features to increase their arousal state to a high level before surrendering...ymmv

>>>> this all presumes that you've enabled player as victim in general settings already

Hello.

Thank you. I finally succeed. I had some missing dependant mod and I didn't run the .exe.

I would be good if installing a mod automatically triger the installation of required one od ask for optionals.

I still have a problem ... no Genital. How do I have it ?

Also, finally, when we have a "conflict" between too mod.. There is a way to know which one should be loaded the latest ?

Thx again :)

automatic detection of missing dependencies:

not sure how vortex or MO2 or whatever would do that... The mods are effectively free (sans donations). It's generally accepted and expected that one reads the mod description thoroughly and pre installs any necessary dependencies (most very often almost always listed pronouncedly by the author) prior to installing a given mod.

missing member:

Well you have to pick  one I suppose. Use SOS or something to choose. TBH I don't remember or I'd tell you outright... not being coy.

resolving load order conflicts:

can't speak for MO2, but vortex usually suggests the before or after when a load conflict is detected. If it's unable to offer a suggestion, a player has to rely on instruction from the mod author in his/her mod description.

Thank you ;)

I noticed few of these rules after crshing the game few times. I agree that it's always good to see the documentations.

However, I also see mod that are not updated since 2016 and, it's not always clear of I really should load it after another mod updated in 2020. I guess the "defaul"t rule is to load dependents mod after since they "complete" the primary one, but again, is it always correct ?

For a newbie, it's also very hard to know where to start. A lot of acronyme are used for experienced users but .... not easy to understand for a new who event doesnt know what he should be looking for.

Now, everything is working fine exept that the bodies are somewhat "overlaping" it's not normal to see holes in the hips or see the penis go inside girl's body... where it's not supposed to go ...

I even don't know how we call these bugs and even less how to fix it. (Know the name could help to do a search ...)

Anyway.

Thank you for your help :)

we're all just players. I've been playing since ~February 2019 and hadn't had a game on one of my computers since Final Fantasy XI, way back in ~2007. I'm not expert, nor are most other players.

As long as you install Skyrim Special Edition mods only, it doesn't matter too much when they were published, nor whether they have been updated since (as long as they're not SKSE version dependent)

I'd recommend that you just start reading posts in the various LL (Lover's Lab) Skyrim SE (and even regular Skyrim) forums as well as at Nexus, and also use YouTube to view various skyrim related videos. It will slowly but surely educate you by osmosis. I've read voraciously over the past ~year to solve various problems and understand how *some of this works. We all have to or we all fly blind.

I agree about the acronyms. They can be very confusing. it takes time to understand them. And it slows down the initial comprehension, that's what internet searches are for.

PS> the issues with "clipping" (things poking through other things) is a "natural" outgrowth of the fact that player and NPC bodies aren't really bodies, they're just empty shells. Bodies sometimes overlap during animations because the bodies we use don't match exactly to the bodies that were used to create animations (height, weight, body thickness, etc). SL (Sex Lab) has position adjustment keys to help with that.
