cometkid28 Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 so i have use sexlab before, it was while ago but it worked. now its not working so i'm using mod organizer 2 for skyrim le (NOT skyrim se) and it works fine for the most part, so i installed FNIS and i ran it, i also installed sexlab. now the problem is that ingame i have access to to sexlab in the MCM and everything looks fine not missing text or that thing where it replaces letters with a $ but when i run FNIS i don't see Reading SexLab, and when i tried to run the animation since ingame it did the thing where the actors merge into one another (you probably know what i talking about) and the the other problem is when i went to the "SexLab Troubleshooting & Support Guide" it told me to: Add/edit the following to this file: [Papyrus] fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0 bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 and i did all that, next it tells me to go to : My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Logs/Script/, the file Papyrus.0.log will always contain the log for the LAST time you opened Skyrim But my script folder is empty (this might not be related but i think is is, i'm not the best with... software? it that was i call this kind of stuff?)
Yinkle Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 Daft question but you are running FNIS through mod organiser 2 right? Did you add the papyrus options to the skyrim.ini (or skyrimCustom.ini if present) in your MO2 profile folder?
donttouchmethere Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 I think you should check if you use FNIS right with MO => lots of videos around I think Also check for your log maybe where MO would place it? You definitely need to see a MO specialist ? Just in case, post your FNIS output (just copy paste the text it writes while generation animation files)

Zaflis Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 You didn't say "how" you run FNIS. It should be started from MO, also set its work folder same as where the .exe is found. It should be somewhere under ...\MO\Mods\Fnis\...
Yinkle Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 yup it looks like you aren't running FNIS via MO2 and therefore it finds no animation files
cometkid28 Posted May 30, 2020 Author Posted May 30, 2020 how i start it? i click it, its on my MO toolbar keep in mind im still somewhat new to using FNIS so you going to have to say more then i'm not running it for MO, where am i running from, or how do i find out? i'm guessing i have to re install FNIS and use a different pathway (i think i'm using that word right)?
Yinkle Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 The main concept to grasp about MO2 is that it creates a virtual filesystem when it launches another program. So if you run FNIS normally it won't find your MO2 mods. run it via MO2 and it will. Same with skyrim and any other programs it launches.
Yinkle Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 I'll add some screenshots to assist, give me a few mins

Yinkle Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 OK here's a screen of my MO2 setup for FNIS Things to note here: 1/ if you look above the "modify executables" window you will see a drop down selection "<Edit..>". This is where you change options for programs that you run from MO2. 2/ the path to the binary, GenerateFNISforUsers.exe in this case 3/ I've made a separate mod "FNIS Bonsai" in this instance where all the fnis files will be put for this MO2 profile. You don't need to do this but it's useful if making multiple MO2 profiles with diferent mods. If you don't specify where to put files they will be put in your MO2 OverWrite folder. 4/ So when I run the FNIS executable from the topbar in MO2 it will generate the necessary files and place them in my FNIS Bonsai mod.
cometkid28 Posted May 30, 2020 Author Posted May 30, 2020 ok so nothing i do i really working can someone give me a idea of the "Expected generator path" it probably starts with local disk and ends sometime after skyrim. if i could just get a idea, that's seems to be the reason i'm getting a warning but maybe they are unrelated and if they are well them im fucked because i don't understand any of this, i did it for MO1 and it worked fine shouldn't it be the same or easier for MO2? i need to know what path to take to the binary, right now its: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe
cometkid28 Posted May 31, 2020 Author Posted May 31, 2020 so no one responded to my last post but i would like the let anyone reading this, it wasn't easy but it is now working, (as far as i can tell)
